Misono Ichika's costume design is very exquisite, with the pink ribbon tie paired with a white ruffled apron, creating a very light and soft visual appearance. To showcase this fluffy texture, I intentionally added two inner layers of stiff mesh tulle under the skirt, so that no matter how I sit, the skirt maintains a natural arc without sticking flatly to my legs. For hair accessories, the silver-white long straight wig with two fluffy ear accessories, matched with a pink bow on top, gives a very clean look with a hint of lively childishness. For makeup, I specifically chose warm-toned blush and lip stain, trying to recreate the character's cute yet slightly timid charm.
The location choice this time was quite interesting. The stained-glass pieced window behind me was one of the core elements of the frame, with warm light filtering through the red, yellow, and blue color blocks onto me, creating a very cozy and retro ambiance. Paired with this solid wood slatted chair, the overall environment has a strong narrative feel. During the shoot, I chose a seated pose with legs crossed and naturally extended; this pose showcased the texture of the white stockings photoshoot while keeping me from looking overly constrained. When shooting pure-type characters like this, body posture shouldn't be too stiff; you need to relax your shoulders, sit slightly sideways on the edge of the wood, and let your eyes naturally gaze downward or look straight into the camera to capture that effortless attraction.
The line from the second in-game screenshot, \"Please, just don't say you hate me, okay?\" actually touched me deeply. In many galgame sharing works, characters who seem fragile and afraid of rejection often possess a very delicate emotional core. Recreating her as a cosplayer isn't just about putting on a costume, but also about understanding her cautious inner world seeking validation. So during the shoot, I specifically adjusted my hand placement to rest gently on my chest, attempting to echo through body language the insecurity and sincerity she expressed in her words. Character-wise, she's a girl with kitten-like traits, so I tried to keep my eyes soft and harmless.
As a photography enthusiast who frequently moves between indoor studios and outdoor scenes, the use of reflectors and fill lights played a crucial role in this shoot. Because the reflections from the wooden structure and stained glass made the light quite mottled, we placed a semi-transparent white softbox on the right side of my body to provide diffuse light for the skirt and legs. This preserved the warm tone of the ambient light without creating heavy shadows that would make the face lose luster. Pure white clothing can easily wash out under flat light, causing it to lose dimensionality. Fortunately, the solid wood background with its natural color variation perfectly neutralized the plastic feel that pure white might otherwise produce, adding warmth to the picture.
I actually really like the final outcome of this photo. It doesn't have the intense visual impact of overly revealing cosplays, but by combining white thigh-highs, a fluffy skirt, a ribbon tie, and timid eyes, it conveys just the right amount of sweetness and vulnerability. I'm not used to applying heavy filters or post-processing effects on my work; I prefer preserving skin texture so the clothing weave and background environment remain clearly visible. That's the best way to honor the lighting setup and makeup artist's hard work. After finishing this shoot, I could truly feel the protective instinct that Misono Ichika's character naturally evokes.
