[Klee Cosplay] Genshin Impact REDLAND Convention Flash Report: The Spark Knight Under Outdoor Sunshine

Today at the REDLAND Convention, the sunshine was amazing, and I cosplayed Klee from Genshin Impact. For this look, I did plenty of homework beforehand. Klee's costume design in Genshin Impact is packed with rich details, such as the red peaked cap, golden four-leaf clover emblem, brown fingerless gloves, and that scarf with white fluffy trim. To authentically recreate these details outdoors, I had this costume customized—paying special attention to the backpack and charms so that not a single nuance was missed. The outdoor breeze was a bit brisk today, but luckily the wig and elf ear props were anchored securely. Doing outdoor cosplay photoshoots truly tests physical stamina and makeup longevity. Because the temperature was relatively warm and the coat and scarf had substantial thickness, I began sweating lightly almost the moment I finished suiting up. Still, for the sake of bringing the character to life, it was all worthwhile. To capture Klee's innocent, lively, and slightly mischievous vibe, I discussed extensively with the photographer, picking numerous medium close-ups and tight shots to capture that spark in her eyes. There was a giant inflatable mascot doll in the background, matching today's cute atmosphere wonderfully. Cosplay isn't just about putting on the garments; it's about conveying the character's inner personality. As the Spark Knight, Klee's boundless curiosity toward the world needed to be communicated through body language and facial expressions—like tilting the head slightly when holding small props, and maintaining an energetic, bouncy stance. Today's outdoor natural light was intense; although there were some harsh shadows, it rendered the textures and weave of the fabric exceptionally crisp. The venue ambiance was fantastic, with REDLAND's space layout rich in depth and brimming with anime elements. I met so many friends who love the same title today, making mingling incredibly joyful.
