This time, I cosplayed the Unicorn Spring Gift skin from Azur Lane. The overall look was actually much more detail-intensive than I imagined. For the hair, I wore a light purple long straight wig. The plush unicorn horn accessory and white cloud-like hair ornaments on top had to be positioned just right to keep from tilting, so I used several bobby pins to keep them firmly upright, while the black ribbons draping down nicely framed my face. The outfit is a modified cheongsam made of white satin with a pearlescent sheen, though it wrinkles very easily, so I steamed it thoroughly before shooting. The red piping along the slits and collar, as well as the red cord ties across the chest, were hand-stitched and very delicate. On the left side of the waist, a patch of sheer pink tulle is attached, adorned with a small green ball that is actually a bell, chiming crisply with movement and adding plenty of playful charm. The black plush wrist cuffs paired with red ribbons created a nice contrast against the white-and-red palette.
For the lower half, a white tights cosplay style with over-the-knee socks and black platform heels was chosen. The high-slit design beautifully accentuated the leg lines. For props, I specifically chose a black stepladder and a white plush rug; the ladder allowed for seated poses and hands-on-hips standing poses, while the rug was perfect for lying down or kneeling. The red gift box and white pony plush were matching props prepared beforehand, adding a narrative depth as if presenting a holiday gift. For makeup, the eye makeup featured soft purple-pink tones to echo the hair, with slightly elongated eyeliner to make the eyes look more spirited, finished with a sheer glossy pink lip. To keep the lighting soft, we primarily relied on natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows without harsh fill lights, ensuring the satin reflections didn't overexpose while keeping skin tones luminous. During the shoot, we adjusted angles repeatedly—such as watching the hemline when crossing legs to prevent accidental exposure, and making sure the pressure points on my arms and cheeks looked natural when lying prone. The overall ambiance of this Loli Cosplay set is sweet and refreshing while retaining the gentle elegance of a cheongsam, bringing out both the character's liveliness and the spirit of spring. Of course, balancing on a stepladder in platform heels was quite tricky, taking a few seconds to adjust my center of gravity each time I switched poses. The prop gift box was light, but holding it for extended periods still made my arms ache, so I had to flex my fingers between shots. Overall, the shoot went smoothly, and I'm very pleased with the fidelity of the costume and props.
