Shooting this C108 look for Zaogao from Azur Promilia was an incredible experience, and I wanted to share some practical takeaways from behind the camera. The costume features intricate design work: a light-blue translucent gossamer gown over a white bustier, accented with golden armlets and a forehead circlet for a fresh palette. To evoke her elven essence, I wore elongated elf ears, twig headpieces, and white feathers, paired with soft pink blush, reddish contacts, and long golden curls to craft an exquisite doll-like presence.
Because of heavy convention crowds at C108, we opted for an indoor studio to manage fine details with controlled lighting, highlighting the white bodice trimmings and blue-and-gold hemline. The set featured a warm yellow backdrop decorated with pink mushrooms and blue blossoms, using a wide aperture to blur the background into a fairy-tale dream.
Outfit maintenance required constant attention, particularly keeping White stockings smooth and managing the drape of the gossamer skirt. I settled on a seiza kneeling pose while cradling a leafy white plush toy, filling visual space with warmth and approachable charm.
