[Phoebe Cosplay] Wuthering Waves: Prayer and Breeze, IJOY Anime Convention Photos Share

The Phoebe photoshoot images from the IJOY Anime Convention are finally retouched. This shoot was truly rewarding, but as I said when posting, the more you shoot, the more you have to edit. As someone handling all the post-processing myself, looking at these hundreds of raw photos is indeed a sweet \"burden,\" which also gave me a deeper understanding of every detail of this costume.

This Phoebe outfit has a wealth of details. The shape of the large round hat really tests wearing technique; it needs to sit securely while maintaining a sense of lightness. The blue cross decoration on the crown and the black-and-gold striped ribbons hanging from both sides are the finishing touches. I chose light gold for the wig this time; to achieve a fluffy and natural texture, the stylist and I fine-tuned it repeatedly for a long time to prevent it from looking stiff. The dark patchwork and golden geometric lines around the neckline are extremely delicate, and this combination of blue, white, and gold truly highlights an elegant temperament.

Most worth mentioning are the White stockings and high boots; the blue thin ribbon bow at the top of the boots not only enhances the overall color layering, but also visually shapes the leg line. The foot traffic at the convention venue was huge, making it really difficult to shoot clean photos while avoiding messy backgrounds. This time I invited my old friend Stellar_Way behind the camera again; his aesthetic is always on point, particularly adept at capturing dynamic energy and facial expressions. For the moment in image one where the wind blows the blue cape, we walked back and forth several times before capturing a satisfying sense of flow; the sitting pose in image two was actually from me quietly resting on a folding stool mid-shoot, and his quick snaps ended up becoming one of my personal favorites; the glancing back pose in image three was also tested while walking down the aisle, natural and lively. The pink bouquet was a prop bought on-site at the convention, which surprisingly softened the overall blue-and-white color palette, neutralizing the cool tone of the look.

Regarding editing, I didn't apply exaggerated filter overlays this time, focusing instead on restoring the original texture of the garment. If the contrast and light-shadow relationships on white-and-blue paneling aren't handled well, it can easily look like faded old clothes. Therefore, I intentionally darkened the background and utilized the typical cool overhead lighting of the convention hall to evoke a tranquil, gentle ambiance. The editing process was actually a review of every seam and every piece of lace trim on this outfit.

Wearing the boots all day left my ankles a bit red and my legs sore, but seeing the final photo results made everything feel completely worth it. If any fellow fans want to cosplay this character, I strongly recommend bringing a small electric fan specifically to blow the cape—the dynamic effect will definitely double. This is a record of ordinary convention cosplay photos, and I hope to share the exquisite delicacy and tranquility I saw through my eyes.
