[Eleg cosplay] Goddess of Victory: Nikke Hydro Boom Photo Sharing

Sorting through the selected photos from this 'Hydro Boom' themed shoot is finally done. Cosplaying baby Eleg is always so much fun because her personality is perfect for expressive close-up shots with intense facial tension. For the Moe-style makeup and styling, the wig chosen this time featured spliced light blonde and bright yellow; the cowlick on top was specially styled with hair wax, and the layers of the bangs were trimmed for a long time to flatter my face shape. For eye makeup, purple-pink contact lenses were used, with eyeliner deliberately angled downward to pair with drooping lashes, creating a look that is both innocent and mischievously playful. In terms of costume, the yellow-and-black suspender design was rather tedious to put on and take off; to showcase the shoulders and collarbones, I applied double-sided tape along the edges against my skin to ensure the side lighting produced clean visual lines. Regarding those red marks—commonly referred to as 'liver-colored'—I experimented with various techniques to achieve today's deliberately dramatic presentation: the first photo uses slender red diagonal lines paired with a silver lip piercing at the corner of the mouth to look extra whimsical and quirky, while the second photo features widely blended pinkish blush without the lip piercing for a softer style. The shoot mainly took place indoors, with a large white reflector on the left brightening facial shadows, while the thatched texture of the right background added depth to the frame. For composition, a reliable centered framing was chosen, maintaining moderate proportion for the head and shoulders with ample negative space around them, topped off with yellow lightning effects in post-processing to echo the hair color. During retouching, skin textures were subtly retained without excessive airbrushing, with focused brightening on the lips and eye catchlights to mimic the in-game texture. To capture the perfect tongue-out moment during the shoot, the photographer and I repeatedly coordinated shutter timing and focal lengths to ensure facial muscles didn't appear stiff when my mouth was slightly open. Given the character's playful nature, tilting the head slightly downward while looking straight into the lens was the ideal angle. Whenever doing cosplay, in addition to staying faithful to canon, I love infusing personal touches—like using a lip piercing to add a 2D rebellious flair or altering the shape of the blush to express different moods. The yellow-and-black colorway is visually captivating, performing brilliantly under both bright and moody lighting. This shoot truly nailed the character's distinct traits, and wrapping up with tidying the wig and costume for the next shoot concluded a very satisfying and genuine endeavor for Photo sharing.
