We arranged this shoot in a White studio purely for background cleanliness, granting immense creative freedom for post-processing color grading. We utilized high-key lighting to guarantee smooth highlight roll-off, cooling down the overall palette in post.

The wig features voluminous long blue twintails; styling required layering sections individually, and pinpointing the exact mount for the halo overhead took careful positioning. Because the wig was heavy, turning my head demanded deliberate restraint to keep it from slipping off-center.

The uniform combines black, white, and blue tones, with wide sleeves bearing diamond-quilted patterns and waist pockets with utility straps. The fabric is structured and holds its tailored silhouette cleanly, though sitting easily pressed creases into the pleats, requiring constant resetting.

Our pre-shoot discussions focused on showcasing leg contours, leading us to favor perching atop a white circular platform or leaning across a chair back. Against a pure white backdrop, the barefoot elements required careful post-retouching to preserve authentic skin grain without blowing out highlights.

During shooting, I adjusted my gaze according to the photographer's cues—alternating between piercing direct stares down the lens and averted side profiles. To channel her detached composure, I kept facial expressions stoic and restrained.

The session stretched from afternoon into evening. The temperature was quite chilly, making bare feet against the props rather freezing. Combined with the heft of the costume, capturing the set was physically taxing. Maintaining an aesthetically pleasing skirt flare required resetting stances repeatedly. For close-ups, prop angles and grip tension had to be dialed in to keep framing fluid rather than stiff.
