The entire process of shooting this Blue Archive Seia swimsuit look on location was considerably more challenging than anticipated. Facing the blazing sun poolside, our biggest hurdle lay in balancing white balance and controlling harsh light ratios; however, achieving the character's translucent skin tone made every bit of preparation worthwhile. For makeup, aligning with canonical art meant keeping the eye makeup soft while elongating the eye shape, paired with subtle baby-pink lips. The form-fitting white one-piece swimsuit hugged the body closely with ample stretch, though moving frequently outdoors required constant vigilance against wardrobe malfunctions. The vibrant yellow jacket provided a dynamic pop of color, but because wearing it under the sun was sweltering, I mostly draped it over the shoulders or held it to frame compositions.

Regarding props, the Kemonomimi girl ears and hair ornaments were reinforced securely, yet persistent gusts demanded regular brush-ups with the assistant constantly monitoring the fur's directional flow. For the wicker lounger set, aiming for lengthened, taut leg lines required repeated shifts: leaning the torso back with legs fully straightened proved exhausting on wicker weaving, as my toes had to firmly grip the slats to avoid sliding downward. Stepping barefoot onto the sun-baked wood plank deck was blistering, yet sacrificing comfort was essential to convey weightless poise.

The initial poolside shot balancing on tiptoes on one foot was all about core stability, where a minor wobble risked tumbling into the water, requiring controlled, full-body tension. Arched poolside cabanas provided natural frame-within-a-frame compositions. Post-processing focused primarily on gentle skin glow and calibrated saturation to preserve clean summer breeziness. Yellow sunglasses served as a versatile prop—held in hand or worn to add expressive nuance while deflecting harsh squinting glare. Balancing high-neck cuts with chest cutouts flattered Seia's aloof yet captivating allure, and leaving skin textures un-liquified kept the captured sunlight genuinely tangible.
