Preparing the costume, props, and makeup focused on creating a lazy yet refreshing island resort vibe. The pink twintail wig received special texturing to showcase great dimensional depth under sunlight, paired with blue-to-purple gradient sunglasses resting overhead to naturally blend the character's lively and casual nature. The outfit featured a white halter swimsuit paired with a bright blue loose sun-protection cardigan; this style not only pops visually on the beach but also carries flowing motion when walking. White platform sandals on my feet featured blue bow decorations, harmonizing perfectly with the overall blue-and-white color scheme. For props, that light blue smiley plush pillow was truly the soul of the setup—whether hugging it or leaning against it, it added immense cuteness to every frame.

The weather on shooting day was scorching hot, especially on the beach at noon, where the sand became scalding to walk on barefoot. To achieve the most natural summer vacation vibe, photographer @dj-kun braved the blazing sun, carrying heavy gear continuously to guide poses and find optimal angles. For framing, we intentionally utilized surrounding natural elements—such as using palm leaves as foreground elements in the second and fourth photos—shot with a telephoto lens to create gorgeous background bokeh across the beach and ocean, significantly enhancing the depth of field and spatial feel.

Beside lively standing poses holding the pillow by the seaside, we also attempted lazy poses lying on a transparent inflatable swim ring. Due to intense sunlight, the camera lens occasionally captured unexpected rainbow lens flares and refractive glares; these random physical optical phenomena became atmospheric bonuses that enriched the passionate summer heat in the photos. Furthermore, regarding facial expression control, I intentionally avoided exaggerated expressions, striving instead to mirror the character's typical unhurried, half-asleep relaxed demeanor, working alongside gentle sea breezes to present a truly chill state.

Looking back at this set after two years, memories of the sea breeze temperature, salty ocean smell, and great teamwork under the scorching sun remain vividly recorded in these bright photos. Although outdoor location shoots are challenging, the real outdoor environment creates natural light and shadow shifts that studio shoots cannot replace. Cosplay is not just about wearing costume; it's a wonderful experience of bringing 2D characters authentically into 3D beach settings.
