[Altria cosplay] Fate/Grand Order: Firefly Anime Convention Photos Sharing

Sharing my convention photos from Day 2 of Firefly! From the moment I decided to bring this Fate/Grand Order blue-and-gold knight outfit for Altria, the preparations never stopped. Starting with the costume details, the white inner lining of the skirt features built-in boning support to create a natural, voluminous flare. The blue-and-gold jacket is made from a structured suiting fabric, allowing it to maintain a sharp, dimensional silhouette under both ambient and natural lighting without looking limp. The small collar bow and metallic buttons were custom-sourced, taking multiple attempts to match the exact golden sheen. On the lower half, I wore semi-opaque black Stockings—choosing a slightly thicker denier to even out skin tone—paired with black leather lace-up high-heeled boots. The 7–8 cm heels definitely made my feet ache after standing for hours, but it was well worth it to elongate my body proportions and lines. The prop sword wasn't light; crafted from wood wrapped in EVA and spray-painted, the grip was wrapped in anti-slip grip tape. Holding the sword resting naturally downward or propped against the shoulder brought out the character's sense of strength. The shooting location was next to the glass railing in the convention center corridor, making great use of the natural reflections and environment. The photographer guided me to turn sideways, resting one foot on the base step of the railing, which adjusted my posture and visually extended the long legs in black Stockings. Since the venue lighting was naturally cool and blue-toned, post-processing avoided excessive effects, maintaining a clean, translucent cool palette. I trimmed the wig myself repeatedly, focusing on the ahoge on top and the subtle curve of the straight bangs on both sides to capture her disciplined, heroic spirit. For makeup, I skipped overly dramatic false eyelashes in favor of sharp eyeliner and soft red eyeshadow to emphasize an ethereal, focused gaze. During shooting, I kept my chin tucked and aimed my gaze straight ahead or slightly below the lens, ensuring close-ups looked natural without exaggerated expressions. The convention was massive and crowded, so capturing these clean-background shots was the result of patiently waiting for crowds to clear. The moments when I rested leaning on the prop sword like a cane were also captured, reflecting a subtly weary yet ever-vigilant stance. Beyond the photoshoot, chatting with fellow fans about costume and makeup details was wonderful. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the texture and presence of these convention photos, successfully merging the strength of wielding a blade with the visual elegance of Stockings and boots. The convention experience went smoothly, achieving the faithful recreation I aimed for—and that wraps up this photo share.
