[Elysia Cosplay] Convention Hall Shots of the Pink Herrscher from Honkai Impact 3rd in a Maid Outfit

Let's dive straight into the topic: on-site at the IJOY Anime & Game Festival today, I am bringing you a set of Elysia's maid styling that I personally love very much. Looking back at this set of hall shots, my biggest impression is that the lighting at the venue was extremely harsh, but because I made ample preparations in advance, this costume actually highlighted the luster of the fabric under the flash. The pink wig paired with elf ears feels very translucent visually.

Regarding this outfit, what attracts me the most is the layered design of the skirt hem. The outer layer is a mercerized dark purple fabric, hiding a white multi-layered pleated petticoat inside. Coupled with puff sleeves and hollowed-out waist straps, the overall styling captures the agility of a maid while retaining the sweetness of the character itself. The white over-the-knee socks accentuated the leg lines beautifully during the shoot, especially at the ankle where thin black straps were specially added as embellishments, increasing the exquisiteness of the details.

We shot several different poses today. The single-knee kneeling posture in the picture is actually quite a test for joints and ligaments, but fortunately, the arc of the spreading skirt hem is just right, perfectly filling out the visual composition. For the subsequent two candid shots of sitting and standing, I also deliberately controlled the focus of my gaze, wanting to convey an effortless confidence. For an environment like an anime convention, although the background is cluttered, the character's sense of independence in the frame becomes exceptionally strong through a wide aperture and flash overpowering the ambient light.

Although this gear is not too heavy, moving around the venue for the shoot was still a considerable test. Special thanks go to the photographer's patience, guiding me on-site on how to adjust angles so that the puffiness of the maid outfit wouldn't look bloated under the flat lighting. The on-site metal anti-slip floor tiles and the industrial-style trusses at the top actually formed an interesting visual collision with the sweet-styled attire, which is exactly the charm of convention hall photos.

As the shoot ended and I sorted through these photos, I felt this marathon-like photoshoot session was entirely worth it. I hope to pass along Elysia's playful yet slightly mysterious vibe through the lens.
