Taking my 30th birthday as the milestone, my goal was to completely recreate Sangonomiya Kokomi's default outfit in this photoshoot. Reaching the age of 30, I didn't set up an elaborate formal ceremony; instead, dedicating a Birthday illustration set to my most beloved Kokomi felt profoundly meaningful.

My physical state on the day of the shoot was demanding, as wearing a Kigurumi mask requires sustained stamina over long hours. To ensure these photos captured a rich anime ambiance, I invested significant thought into body choreography. Because wearing a mask locks facial expressions, the angle of the gaze and hand gestures became the primary tools for conveying emotion. For instance, sitting in profile in the Japanese washitsu room, I stabilized my center of gravity so the White stockings and leg garters were naturally showcased. Transitioning to the piano scene, holding the violin required repeatedly adjusting the bow angle to look authentic rather than haphazard.

This default costume features numerous intricate design details: the oversized chest bow has a complex structure, making holding an upright posture physically demanding over time. The neckline features a delicate black lace choker embedded with a blue gemstone. The deep blue sleeves are voluminous with white wave crest patterns, delivering great visual dynamics when swayed. Pairing the outfit with White stockings and light purple leg garters was a standout highlight of this look, so we deliberately arranged poses to accentuate leg lines.

Special thanks to Miyou Miaomiaowu COSPLAY for the venue and photography support. The pure white backdrop, garden set, Japanese washitsu, and piano studio provided diverse staging for this Genshin Impact costume. The studio manager put great care into lighting—incorporating dreamy dappled light in the garden and emphasizing warm tones in the washitsu to enrich narrative atmosphere.

Regarding hair and makeup, to harmonize with the Kigurumi mask, eye and blush shades were specifically adjusted to match the pink gradient wig and blue costume. I'm usually not accustomed to dramatic posing in public, but to capture the celebratory spirit of a Birthday illustration, I adjusted my rhythm to make every pose look lively and fluid. Taking quick breaks between takes, I shifted across multiple scenes by organizing props and poses efficiently.

For convention friends who appreciate this costume, the tactile texture, fabric patterns, and accessory craftsmanship are what I value most; in finalizing this set, I preserved high-clarity solid background photos so everyone can appreciate the design details. Though I've reached 30, cosplay remains a cherished passion in my life; portraying Sangonomiya Kokomi cosplay brought a sense of serene tranquility found in singular dedication. Happy birthday to myself, and heartfelt thanks to the photographer and studio crew for their assistance.
