The costume concept for this shoot features Phoebe from Wuthering Waves. When I first received this outfit, my immediate impression was the abundance of fabric layers, yet the overall tailoring remained remarkably crisp. The white base fabric of the top has great structure, and the blue shoulder cape drapes just right, creating fluid, fluttering lines whenever I move. To recreate the character faithfully for this Phoebe Cosplay, I did plenty of preparation in advance. The staff in my hand is a substantial prop; the golden bird relief carvings at the top are richly detailed, and to prevent harsh glare during shooting, the lighting angles were adjusted multiple times. In terms of makeup, emphasis was placed on defining the eye contours, wearing blue-purple contact lenses to match the character's original eye color. The blue cross hair ornament on my forehead was secured with small hair clips; having some weight to it, I had to ensure it didn't deform my bangs during the shoot.

For the lower half, I selected white tights—White stockings—paired with white ankle boots. The White stockings feature a semi-sheer texture that appears natural and refined under studio lighting. The golden zippers and blue straps on the boots perfectly echoed the decorative elements on the attire. The gloves are black, crafted from material that hugs the skin closely, providing a firm and steady grip when holding the staff. The hat is a wide-brimmed soft hat; it couldn't be pulled down too low, or it would block my sight and hinder expressive eye contact with the camera. Furthermore, because the hat is quite broad, I had to be cautious during leaning or bowing poses so as not to knock off the hair accessories.

The shooting process really put my physical stamina to the test. The costume itself carries weight, and combined with the leverage of the staff, posing with the prop held in one hand required deliberate core control to manage my center of gravity. The beauty of this Studio photoshoot daily life is the ability to precisely control lighting: the pure white backdrop kept the visual focus squarely on our contrasting colors. While guiding poses, the photographer had me explore multiple angles. For example, glancing back over my shoulder beautifully showcased the extending lines of the cape and the White stockings, while slightly raising one leg broke visual monotony and made the body lines more dynamic. The forward-leaning and crouching shots aimed to capture expressions closer to the character's persona while displaying garment details up close. Because White stockings can easily blow out under intense lighting, the highlights were intentionally pulled back during lighting setup to preserve subtle fabric jacquard and lace nuances.

The costume boasts abundant details, such as the metallic waist chain, circular pendants, and black lace along the cuffs, all of which were highlighted nicely in the final photos. The golden motifs on the cape possessed wonderful texture under the lights; during post-processing selection, to retain these fine details, no drastic color shifts were made. The overall palette maintained a balanced harmony of white as the primary tone, blue as the accent, and gold as embellishments. Additionally, the spherical ornament at the base of the staff tended to roll when laid flat, so it was carefully propped up beside me during breaks.

From preparing the wardrobe to wrapping up the studio shoot, this project took considerable time. Every cosplay journey is a transformation from a flat 2D concept into a three-dimensional reality; especially for a character with numerous accessories and large-scale props, countless on-site adjustments were required. The styling of White stockings visually harmonized the entire color scheme, while the black gloves added dimensional contrast. Throughout the session, I experimented extensively with fabric drapery, prop angles, and the focus of my gaze, hoping to convey the character's mysterious yet poised temperament.
