This Robin cosplay photo set is finally out. It took nearly 6 hours back and forth, from wig styling to the final shoot; preparations before Miss Robin goes on stage indeed require extremely meticulous handling. To recreate that dreamy stage feel, I re-verified every detail of this outfit. First is the wig part; the light blue raw wig took about an hour to trim, and the blunt bangs and sideburns on both sides needed to be blow-dried to achieve a fluffy yet smooth curve. The white-purple gradient feathers on the sides of the ears were bought separately, dyed, and fixed onto hairpins; to ensure a flowing feel when walking, the angle was adjusted for a long time. The golden halo on top of the head was a difficult point; to make it stably float without crushing the hair, I made an invisible supporting skeleton inside, and the small purple-and-white gradient flowers on it were pinched out piece by piece and glued on. In terms of makeup, to fit the character's doll-like feel and elf temperament, the base makeup used a lighter foundation liquid, with the focus on the eye makeup: wearing vibrant icy blue contact lenses, adding sequins to the outer corners of the eyes, and drawing a slightly upturned eyeliner to increase a bit of an innocent feel. The lip makeup chose a lip glaze with an orange tint, making the complexion look better. In terms of costume, the purple-and-white spliced strapless dress has a very solid texture. The deep purple satin bow on the chest has an extremely strong gloss and needs to be slightly managed with a steam iron to maintain its crispness. The off-shoulder sleeves are very large, and the lace and pearl decorations on the edges are extremely exquisite, paired with the purple tulle on the white gloves, bringing out a strong sense of layering. The deep purple choker on the neck, the golden starlight pendant, and that thin gold chain fill the blank space at the collarbone wonderfully. The musical note decorative buckle at the waist is one of the souls of this outfit, and the color blocking of blue and gold is very eye-catching. A pure black background was chosen during the shoot precisely to make the purple-and-white tones pop out to the maximum. Figure 1 features both hands open and body slightly leaning to showcase the overall tension of the costume; Figure 2 features a single-handed peace sign, matching the head angle for a more playful look; Figure 3 holds a makeup brush as a small shooting prop; and Figure 4 presents a quieter, more dignified posture. Since the strapless dress features a corset design, wearing it for a long time requires adjusting breathing rhythm, but to present the best state in front of the lens, this bit of hardship is completely acceptable. The lighting during the shoot was also deliberately adjusted, trying to use a softbox directly on the front, which makes the character's skin look finer while also hitting highlights on the large purple satin sleeves. Although the preparation process was tedious and wearing the wig and contact lenses for a long time was quite tiring, seeing these details recorded by the lens brings immense satisfaction.
