Here arrives the official shoot for Robin in a Custom swimsuit design. Preparing for this series, I styled long light-blue hair paired with green cosmetic contacts matching the canonical palette, alongside a magnetic halo anchored securely overhead. The most distinctive accents were the purple-gradient feathered ear wings, specially reinforced so they wouldn't droop while revealing luminous translucence under sunlight.
The outfit featured a two-piece pastel blue swimsuit—a bandeau top paired with a drawstring miniskirt in a subtly shimmering fabric. To enhance visual depth, I added a dramatic, vivid blue feathered stole; cascading downwards, it imparted regal flair, though once splashed with pool water it grew heavy, demanding steady, deliberate posture. On my feet were blue lace-up high-heeled sandals finished with plush fur poms at the toes, seamlessly echoing the swimwear aesthetic.
We set the shoot in an outdoor courtyard featuring a private pool. Vibrant orange lounge chairs rested across the wooden deck, while a stone table was dressed with red apples, grapes, pastries, and a glass bottle filled with blue liquid, interweaving warm and cool tones. Surrounding banana leaves and azure pool water offered vast leeway for color grading. Under intense, direct midday sunlight, the photographer utilized side-backlighting to illuminate flyaway hair strands and feather contours, maximizing an airy, translucent glow.
The shooting session had its hurdles: since posing isn't my forte, I relied heavily on the photographer's cues. I was guided through varied stances—kneeling on a chair leaning against the armrest, standing barefoot by the water's edge, sitting at the table holding a goblet, and reclining across the wood planks. Photo 4, biting a cherry while seated, is my personal favorite; that angle elongated leg lines cleanly while my arm placement created a rich, balanced frame. Engaging my core throughout standing poses to accentuate bodily curves proved physically taxing. Posing barefoot across the deck meant braving tiny wood splinters, but I held on to capture sweet, playful expressions.
Retouching prioritized natural skin texture without excessive airbrushing, preserving organic lighting falloff. Heartfelt thanks to photographer @阿凛RIN for patiently dialing in angles, and to retoucher @MIZU三水 for color mastering that made the blue-and-orange contrast feel remarkably refined. The series radiates breezy summer holiday charm, maintaining high fidelity in hair, makeup, and wardrobe throughout.
