Bringing you this Chino cosplay from Is the Order a Rabbit! To embrace the springtime garden theme, we built an indoor studio set filled with lush greenery and faux floral blossoms. For the wardrobe, I chose a blue-and-white color-blocked sleeveless dress adorned with hand-stitched blue blossoms across the hem; to enrich textural dimension, an oversized bow train was added along the back. The wig featured pale blue low twin-tails with straight blunt bangs, curving into classic inward-turned curls along the sides. Makeup focused primarily on the eyes: blue contact lenses harmonized with soft peachy-pink blush, while the signature black X-shaped hairpin was secured to the right bangs, achieving a level of character fidelity I was genuinely pleased with.

The shooting process tested physical endurance more than expected. Because of the dress's expansive hemline, most setups involved seated or kneeling postures. To accentuate the White stockings and elongated leg lines, the photographer guided me through diverse stances—such as stretching out both legs as seen in Photo 3, or acting cute while cradling a white plush kitten prop. However, because of the delicate floral appliqués scattered across the skirt, every posture shift required cautious handling to avoid crushing them. While the indoor artificial turf and fleece blankets looked lovely, shifting around on them in White stockings meant regularly pausing to brush away stray faux-grass fibers. Lighting-wise, the key light was kept delightfully soft; to elevate the crisp freshness of the blue and white palette, the photographer thoughtfully accented the background with sheer blue drapery and touches of orange blooms for complementary contrast, keeping the overall scene from reading overly cool.

Throughout the entire Spring photoshoot session, what satisfied me most was the seamless harmony between costume colors and set dressing. The interplay of blue, white, and green feels profoundly healing. From garment selection and test-makeup to fine-tuning angles with the photographer on set, every step was treated with immense care. Though reviewing the final selections revealed a few slightly stiff poses, the overall atmospheric ambiance fully hit our creative target. Huge thanks to our helper on support duty for continually fixing hair accessories and touching up makeup between takes. I hope everyone enjoys this series overflowing with spring vitality! I will keep exploring diverse aesthetic styles down the road, gradually refining my camera presence so I can flutter billowing hemlines even more effortlessly next time.
