Documenting a very relaxing summer seaside location shoot. This time we chose a sunny beach, and the silver-white wig, sunglasses, and this blue-and-white strapped summer outfit I brought just perfectly matched this refreshing feeling. Although the post description joked about many memes involving HaiMao and Photoshop, as the cosplayer who actually participated in the shoot, I'd rather talk with everyone about the heart and effort behind this photoset.

To enhance the visual depth of the image, we specially brought a striped beach chair and some faux tropical plants. The biggest highlight this time is definitely that huge red-and-white little whale plush in the foreground. During the shoot, the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach combined with the comfortable sea breeze truly gave a completely relaxed vacation vibe. The combination of wooden platform sandals and blue wrap-around straps is also one of the design elements I am personally very satisfied with.

In terms of makeup and styling, the silver-white wig paired with thin-rimmed glasses, and with the sunglasses propped on top of my head, injected a casual yet dashing aura into this look. During the shooting process, we not only had to make good use of natural light but also had to constantly mind the interference of the sea breeze on the wig and outfit styling. To recreate the best state, the team tried repeatedly just to adjust the angle of the chair and the extension of my legs. I hoped to preserve the character's cozy and lazy aura while allowing the whole photo to present a natural and transparent atmosphere of light and shadow.

Actually, shooting by the sea comes with many unexpected challenges, like having to constantly watch the incoming tide to prevent our faux plants and plush toys from getting soaked. However, it is precisely this semi-natural, semi-artificial outdoor environment that ultimately gave the final cuts a sense of vivid vitality, making all the busy efforts of the photography team well worthwhile.

That all for this seaside-themed shoot share! I hope anyone who sees the transparency and leisurely holiday time conveyed in the images can also feel this sense of healing. From costume prototyping to recreating this summer character, the whole process was filled with fun, making it an excellent cosplay shoot experience.
