[Souda cosplay] Sneak Peek of Goddess of Victory: Nikke Bunny Girl Selfies - Image 1

For Soda's bunny girl look, I was actually looking forward to this set quite a bit before deciding to do it. After all, the bunny girl elements perfectly match Soda's playful and confident personality in Goddess of Victory: Nikke. While waiting for the official photoshoot to come out, I snapped a quick selfie as a teaser. In terms of props and styling choices, the overall theme this time follows a classic red, black, and white color scheme. The deep red curtain backdrop, paired with a small round table and scattered poker cards, perfectly sets off that casino or magic show atmosphere from the character's setting.

Regarding the accuracy of this look, the most time-consuming part was the light green wig. To match the character's natural anime feel, I specially trimmed relatively thick blunt bangs and styled ring-shaped twin-tails on both sides. This kind of hairstyle is actually more troublesome to manage than it looks; it takes a while to tame frizz and ensure full, smooth lines even from a selfie angle. Then there are the white bunny ears, which have internal supports so they stay standing up whether shot from the front or the side, rather than looking limp on camera.

The neck accessory is a crisp white collar paired with a black patent leather bow tie. I especially love this material contrast—the glossy black patent leather against the pure white fabric easily draws the visual focus to the neck. Combined with the spacing left by the collar, it beautifully showcases the collarbone lines. The white cuffs on the arms echo the collar, making the color matching of the upper body quite unified.

Since this is a leaked selfie preview, I winked slightly while smiling in front of the lens. The entire posture is quite relaxed, without the strict composition of an official photo set. I intentionally used that cartoon cloud sticker to block a portion of the screen, which can be considered leaving some suspense for the official release. Once the photographer finishes editing the official photos, it should be a much more complete and formal presentation. Dropping a selfie preview beforehand like this actually fits right in with everyone's current casual cosplay sharing habits.

As for the makeup, to coordinate with the light green hair color, the overall foundation was applied very lightly. The focus was placed on the eye makeup, changing the eye color to a reddish tone to match the character's gaze details. The lipstick was also chosen in a natural, moist pink shade, trying my best not to let facial colors steal the spotlight from the white highlights of the costume.

Speaking of prop coordination, the small red table and poker cards next to me are quite the finishing touch. In the official shoot, there should be more interactive movements with these props, but for the selfie, I just kept them on one side of the composition as background support. The warm-toned lighting of the entire scene combined with the red velvet backdrop actually yields a great texture; slightly brightening the skin tone creates a very soft effect.

Doing roleplay and cosplay, from material selection to makeup tests and then pairing with scenes, every step comes with different challenges. But once resolved, the moment the styling is locked in front of the lens is highly satisfying. Although there's only this selfie hiding an easter egg right now, when the official photos come out later, there should be even more highlights regarding the bunny girl poses and detail accuracy. This sneak preview, carrying a slight sense of intimacy, serves as a record of my preparations during this period, and I hope friends who see it can directly feel the character's slightly expressive and bold charm.
