Ganyu in Hanfu wishes all Liyue citizens a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! This marks my seventh time doing Ganyu Cosplay. To be honest, during the preparation stage, the thought of "I really don't want to do this again" crossed my mind, as breaking through one's own limits with the same character is quite difficult. However, when I put on the blue wig, red horns, and this self-styled doujin Hanfu once more, that familiar and adorable feeling instantly returned. Ganyu is truly so cute and deserving of repeated portrayals. This time, abandoning the classic Genshin Impact black-pantyhose bodysuit, I opted for a doujin Hanfu cosplay styling imbued with rich Chinese charm. The flowing white material with blue floral patterns is not only intensely ethereal but also perfectly fits the cool, serene atmosphere of the full moon during Mid-Autumn.

Regarding whether self-assembled doujin outfits deserve a Genshin Impact cosplay tag, I personally believe that as long as you put your heart into capturing the character's expressions, hairstyle, and iconic elements, innovating with clothing styles is another form of expressing love for the character. The shooting location for this set was chosen beside a natural waterscape, where layered rocks and trickling water echoed the character's quiet tranquility. Special thanks to photographer @只想睡个好觉 for patiently capturing the shots—whether close-ups looking back or full-body shots by the water, everything was executed impeccably. Thanks also to the lovely Baozi @墨垚|包子Christina for recommending this wonderfully suited Hanfu, which elevated the overall look's completion tremendously.

Every cosplay feels like a conversation between character and reality. Although the process is grueling—requiring early wake-ups to style complex wigs and intricate garments, plus searching for ideal lighting angles by outdoor waterscapes—all this effort serves to deliver superior visual presentation. For this shoot, we specifically prepared mooncakes as props; even if not all were shown in the final photos, the sincerity was fully present. Paired with this natural landscape setting, it seamlessly resonates with Ganyu's refined, nature-harmonized grace. Even on my seventh iteration, seeing the finished shots renewed my appreciation for her charm. I hope this Mid-Autumn joy reaches everyone through these photos, wishing you all a Happy Festival once again!
