[Ajitani Hifumi Cosplay] A Fresh Japanese-Style Little Angel at the CICF Expo

I managed to shoot this set of Ajitani Hifumi cosplay official photos on-site at the CICF Expo. After getting the returned photos, I really fell in love with this translucent Japanese texture. The weather in Guangzhou this time was exceptionally supportive; the abundant sunshine combined with teacher Juzipi's lens completely magnified the cute attributes of this yellow-and-white plaid dress and lace ruffles.
The costume itself shows great color performance under outdoor light, and the light yellow matches the skin tone perfectly. To coordinate with the original setting style of 'Blue Archive', I chose this lightweight fabric with a sheer tulle texture, giving the skirt hem a natural fluttering sense when walking. The iconic spiral halo on top of the head and the black-and-yellow interwoven bowknot hair accessory are the focuses of restoration; the wearing angles were repeatedly confirmed before shooting to ensure they stay at the visual center under various movements. Of course, this fluffy blue Peroro plush toy is also today's soul prop; it not only filled the blank space for hand movements but also instantly filled the frame with a lively and dynamic sense of storytelling.
The conceptual direction for today's makeup was to go with a bright and clean route—translucent base makeup plus light pink eyeshadow, paired with a light golden wig, creating that unique crystal-clear feel of anime under outdoor natural light. The shooting process was actually a bit tough; during the CICF Expo, the crowd flow in the park was massive, so we found a walkway with dappled tree shadows for shooting. Stepping on the square flagstone path, the color clash between the green of the grass and the bright yellow of the sunshine made the color saturation of the entire photo set very comfortable.
The photographer's control of light was highly professional. The post-processing color grading direction of this set of finished photos was to enhance overall brightness and reduce contrast, successfully expressing a Japanese film feel without blindly piling up highlights and saturation, which makes me feel that the accuracy of this Ajitani Hifumi cosplay reached the expectations in my mind. In terms of pose design, we tried standing, sitting, playful single-leg standing, and a squatting posture at the edge of the grass. For each frame, we tried our best to utilize the surrounding greenery as foreground and background blur to separate the main subject from the cluttered background during this Cosplay photography session.
The few small pictures interacting with the plush toy highly tested expression management, demanding both maintaining the character's sweetness and avoiding appearing too forced. Especially the last picture from a half-kneeling perspective on the ground, paired with the action of handing out the toy toward the lens, looks exceptionally natural under post-shoot adjustments. This shoot allowed me to experience that in an outdoor anime convention environment like the Guangzhou Anime Convention, as long as you find the right angles and lighting, you can equally yield very clean and refreshing finished photos. To preserve Hifumi's innocent and lovely traits, the overall range of motion was also controlled to be relatively restrained, and paired with white-bordered chunky-heeled sandals, it visually elongated the body proportions, making me look lightweight and full of vitality.
As an ordinary enthusiast at the anime convention, being able to present my favorite character through cosplay via the platform of the CICF Expo, paired with such a set of photos full of life, was truly a highly delightful experience. I hope this set of Ajitani Hifumi photos captured in the intertwining of light and shadow can let everyone feel the light-heartedness of a summer breeze, and may everyone find their own exclusive happiness and healing in the anime world.
