[Hifumi cosplay] The well-behaved little angel in Blue Archive

Today I'm sharing a set of Hifumi cosplay photoshoot shot in a classroom setting.

A lot of effort was put into the details of this sailor uniform. The classic dark blue collar features white stripes along the edge, paired with a very eye-catching large yellow bow on the chest. The white buttons of the clothes and the geometric patterns on the collar try to restore the original design as much as possible. The lower body is paired with a dark blue short skirt trimmed with white lace, and black tights, which I rarely try. The matte texture of the black stockings and the glossy black loafers on my feet form a great visual contrast. The overall outfit looks both well-behaved with a school style and adds a bit of mature line sense.

To match this styling, the iconic yellow halo prop was deliberately fixed on top of my head. To avoid it looking unnatural during the shoot, the halo was fixed to the light golden wig using a headband and transparent fishing line. The twin-tails styling also required hair wax to tidy up the stray hairs on both sides to avoid looking frizzy in front of the lens.

The shooting scene was chosen in a classroom full of school vibes. The blackboard in the background features chalk drawings of hamburgers, ice cream, and cat faces. Paired with wooden bookshelves and desks, the overall atmosphere is very relaxed.

The first set of poses was kneeling on the floor, holding that pair of black uniform shoes in hand. The kneeling posture actually tests physical strength quite a bit, requiring the center of gravity to be kept on the calves while keeping the upper body upright. At the same time, the leg lines appear more slender wrapped in black stockings, and this pose can showcase the overall pairing of the shoes and legs very well.

Later, I tried the action of kneeling on the ground and lifting the edges of the skirt hem with both hands. This action requires controlling the strength—showing the lace details of the skirt hem while maintaining a natural and unforced look. In terms of gaze, it should lean towards being innocent and pure as much as possible, fitting the character's little-angel-like lightness.

For the final shot sitting on a wooden chair, I chose a crossed-leg sitting posture with both fists clenched near my cheeks. This posture easily brings out the character's playful yet somewhat reserved texture, and it doesn't look too rigid in front of the lens.

In terms of lens usage, the photographer lowered the camera angle slightly, which better elongated the leg proportions and also made the layering of the black stockings and skirt hem more distinct. The lighting in the classroom was kept as bright and even as possible, allowing the texture of the white shirt and the translucency of the skin to be better presented.

The entire shooting process had high demands for detail control, from the smoothness of the clothing to the setting of the hairstyle, and to the placement of every movement. I hope that while restoring the character, it presents a clean and comfortable visual picture. I really like this classroom uniform theme; both the scene and the styling feel very fitting.
