This photoshoot featured Hikari's outfit from Blue Archive, selecting a clean classroom as the primary setting, paired with a whiteboard and wooden desks and chairs to create an everyday yet slightly dreamy ambiance. To faithfully recreate the character as much as possible, the long straight green wig was styled meticulously—the ends were thinned out and the bangs trimmed straight to give it a more manga-like feel. The elf ears were custom-made, fitting snugly against the ear base with a subtle pink translucency. Paired with pink colored contacts, the eye makeup focused on under-eye blush and eyeliner to make the gaze appear more innocently bewildered.

The outfit is a gym uniform with a white and blue collar, made of slightly stretchy cotton fabric that looks structured when worn. For the lower half, black shorts were paired with sheer White tights; I took special care to keep the stocking cuffs smooth, as the texture of White tights in front of the camera heavily impacts the overall result. The coordination of shoes and socks was tested repeatedly, ultimately settling on light blue Mary Jane shoes as a pop of accent color.

During the shoot, hard light was directed straight at the white wall to cast distinct shadows; this high-contrast lighting looked crisp and clean, perfectly suiting such a refreshing styling. In terms of posing, the focus was on showcasing leg contours—whether sitting on the desk edge holding my legs or turning to glance back sideways, body language was kept as relaxed as possible. Several natural candid actions were captured, such as taking off shoes to sit on the chair, or spacing out beside the desk. Colorful magnets on the whiteboard were used to add liveliness to the scene set, while the halo on top took considerable effort to attach securely to the wig since it was tricky to fix in place.

This set of photos didn't deliberately emphasize heavy emotion; we simply wanted to capture the relaxed everyday life of a student in a classroom setting for Classroom photography. The lighting, costumes, and props were adjusted accordingly, and after trying dozens of poses, the selected shots truly captured the essence of the character. As distinctive characters in Blue Archive, the Highlander Twins have inherently playful costume designs—especially this White tights cosplay paired with shorts. During the shoot, one could genuinely appreciate the ingenuity of the design, while keeping the visual balance between broad areas of white and green before the lens in mind. When editing, the original color tone was largely preserved without excessive post-processing, ultimately delivering this fresh campus portrait style. That summarizes the core creative thoughts behind this photoshoot.
