[Shimoe Koharu cosplay] Blue Archive's Pink-Haired Little Devil

We chose a gymnasium equipment storage room for this shoot, where volleyball racks and signs created a grounded yet fantastical campus setting. Styling this character took meticulous effort: fluffing the pink twin-tails for soft volume, pairing red contact lenses with a pale base to project an innocent yet melancholic gaze, and topping it off with a pink halo and black feathered beret. Lightweight black wings attached seamlessly with skin-safe silicone to avoid shoulder strain.

The outfit featured a black-and-pink sailor top and pleated skirt with custom adjustments to the tie and pink cuffs, accented by a black choker with hanging cords and slouchy white leg warmers that bunched naturally when seated. Wanting to reflect Koharu's prickly exterior and tender core, I dialed back overt cuteness in favor of a distant, cool gaze. Working with photographer Qiliujun, poses with her long staff prop—complete with a dangling pink heart charm—and hands resting on the beret brim balanced the dynamic yellow and blue accents of the background. Catching the warm evening sun filtering into the storage room, this Blue Archive Shimoe Koharu cosplay turned into an unforgettable Anime-style photography and Dalian cosplay photography showcase.
