Right after the FGO 10th Anniversary event launched, I rushed straight to the gacha banner, and to my complete surprise, I actually brought the Director home to Chaldea on my second 10-pull.

Honestly, I didn't hold high expectations before summoning; after all, getting rare rate-up drops in gacha games is mostly pure superstition. But the moment the golden light flashed on the second 10-pull, my phone screen felt like it lit up bright. Blessed with this incredible luck, I thought it was the perfect time to put on the Summer Ereshkigal cosplay outfit I'd prepared, head to the studio, and record both the 10th anniversary and this piece of good fortune together.

Preparing for the shoot was super fulfilling. This Summer Ereshkigal look features a classic blue-and-white color palette. The white halter top paired with metal ring accents and a striking bright blue bow brings out the character's lively, refreshing charm to the fullest. The blonde wig was expertly styled by my hair stylist, recreating the exact curves of the bangs and tips, while the red bow hairpiece and grey horn ornaments were secured perfectly in place.

Inside the photo studio, I specifically prepared a golden birdcage prop and scattered small blue flowers across the floor. Combined with a light-colored straw hat and delicate floral decorations, the overall composition felt rich and complete. As someone who shoots often, I know a plain white backdrop makes character colors pop, so we arranged a clean, brightly lit, pure white studio space.

For the shooting technique, I opted to use my phone for self-portraits, which allowed me to control my facial expressions and mood in front of the lens much better. Close-up shots in particular not only showcased the color of my contact lenses clearly, but also highlighted the unique neckline design of the cosplay outfit. Honestly, when shooting close-ups, facial expression management and eye focus are immensely important.

During the shoot, I also took a few full-body mirror selfies with my phone. Mirror selfies do a great job displaying overall outfit silhouette and body proportions—especially the upper body design, which makes the character instantly recognizable when paired with the full styling. However, the funniest detail was the little sign on the floor that read "Trash Game!!"

As a veteran Fate/Grand Order player, this phrase basically permeates our daily life. It's "trash game" before summoning, "trash game" when getting spooked, and even when pulling a gold card, we still can't help muttering "trash game" to cover up our sheer excitement. This contradictory yet genuine mindset, combined with the breezy vibe of the cosplay photos, created a wonderfully clever comedic touch.

Today's cosplay photo set together with the gacha record feels like my most honest tribute as a Master to the game's 10th anniversary. On one hand, enjoying the happiness of cosplay in reality brings anime vitality into 3D life; on the other hand, pulling my favorite Servant in just two 10-pulls in-game offers a rare, double dose of joy.

Summer Ereshkigal's swimsuit design is inherently distinct, with crisp color tones that fit summer vibes perfectly. Putting on this outfit, donning the wig, and looking in the mirror, the feeling of instantly transforming into the character was truly magical. Although the wig got a bit messy occasionally during the shoot, the stylist was always right there to touch it up—a big thank you to her hard work!

Shooting cosplay photos is far more than just wearing clothes; it requires careful attention to lighting design, prop placement, and posture adjustment. This time, against a pure white backdrop, the light was soft and uniform, preserving shadow details beautifully and giving the garment textures and makeup a refined, high-end feel. Finding the right photographer and lighting is truly the key to creating stunning photos.

Sharing this gacha luck along with these cosplay photos serves as a sweet milestone for my gaming journey. Finding these sparkling moments within our daily gaming and hobbies is perhaps the purest joy we Masters can experience.
