[Ereshkigal cosplay] Space Ereshkigal from Fate Series: Underworld Sleepwalking of an Exhausted Worker - Image 1

I've been rushing around non-stop since the early morning hours. Honestly, my truest wish right now is to apply for a full-time job staying home and caring for my blanket, because working is just so exhausting. When I woke up this morning, my whole body felt floaty and light; I could barely walk steadily and felt like I was sleepwalking. But the moment I remembered today's Anime cosplay plan, I forced myself out of bed and sat right before the vanity. The look I'm presenting today is Ereshkigal cosplay from Fate/Grand Order, widely known as Space Ereshkigal. To faithfully recreate this state, styling the wig alone took an immense amount of time. This light blonde wig required not only trimming the bangs into balanced layers, but also repeatedly sculpting the flyaways on both sides with wax and setting spray so it would look voluminous while keeping a natural drape. Once the wig was in place, the trickiest part was handling the massive horn headdress and the geometric blue crown perched on top. Crafting these two props took a solid week; they were painted with glossy bright blue lacquer and accented with golden-green spikes along the rims. Though heavy on the head and somewhat restricting neck movement—relying entirely on a dense grid of bobby pins—the overall visual impact was stunning. Especially after slipping into the blue top layered with white chiffon tulle and delicate black floral accents, there was a genuine luminous glow. The black floral embellishments across the chest paired with metallic rings elevated the detail to another level. For makeup, to harmonize with her cool-toned palette, I specifically selected bright cyan-blue contact lenses. The eye makeup used an extensive pinkish blend topped with dramatic upper and lower false eyelashes to sculpt that surreal anime-style definition. The base makeup demanded an ultra-fair, porcelain finish, while the lips were kept soft in a subtle flesh-pink glaze to minimize lip definition and direct visual focus to the eyes. During shooting, the photographer set up an intense overhead top light; the cool blue illumination fell across my face, blending with reflections from the nearby crystal chandelier to bathe the frame in an icy, disorienting dreamscape. Truth be told, I was barely keeping my eyes open while posing. My mind kept replaying the clumsy moment of nearly tripping this morning, and my eyelids were fighting to shut. Yet, that sleepy, hazy state accidentally aligned with the character's nuanced melancholy, coolness, and ethereal detachment. Several times I felt on the verge of dozing off, keeping upright purely through passion for the project. Every cosplay shoot is a dual test of physical stamina and mental energy—from crafting props and trial makeup to the final photos, it represents countless late nights. Though taxing, seeing the final images in the camera made every second worthwhile. I am personally thrilled with this set and hope everyone can feel this serene blue-hued atmosphere.
