[Space Ishtar cosplay] Crown Shining in the Primordial Universe from Fate/Grand Order

The greatest challenge during this shoot for the 'Crown Shining in the Primordial Universe' look was managing the katana prop alongside the red-soled high heels. To authentically convey that cold, tsundere persona from the original lore, I refined the blade-drawing stances countless times. Because the prop sword was solid and carried considerable weight, brandishing it put substantial strain on my shoulders and arms, leaving my shoulders sore by the end of the day.

The costume boasts intricate craftsmanship: the black dress splices velvet and leather materials, with a plunging neckline and brown lace trims that flatter the figure wonderfully. The long black pointed horns on the headpiece were somewhat tricky to anchor securely, easily tilting whenever I lowered my head, requiring constant attention to head angles throughout the session. The Black stockings paired with leg garters were a true highlight, and together with the red-soled high heels, beautifully contoured the leg silhouette.

To accentuate these varied fabric textures, a high-key pure white background lighting setup was utilized. Under such intense illumination, preserving the matte texture of the Black stockings while capturing the glossy lacquer of the red soles required meticulous lighting coordination from the photographer. For instance, in the seated pose in Photo 4, I shifted my weight onto the back legs of the chair and straightened my spine to ensure the leg lines flowed seamlessly, with slightly arched toes visually extending the leg length.

For makeup, to echo the cosmic, crown-bearing aloofness, the eyeliner was winged slightly upward with purple-red eyeshadow tones harmonizing with the highlights in the wig. Posing with the katana demanded crisp, decisive lethal intent, whereas seated shots called for poise, elegance, and sensual charm. Navigating the contrast between these two states required continuous micro-adjustments. I thoroughly enjoyed the focused immersion of styling and character acting—every subtle lip press and intense gaze into the lens needed to resonate with her inner persona. Reviewing the raw frames after wrapping made every bit of effort feel deeply rewarding.
