Shooting these Fate/Grand Order Oberon cosplay Convention photos took considerable dedication from pre-production to on-site execution. As a woman taking on a gender-neutral and masculine Silver hair male costume role, the makeup and styling presented substantial challenges. The wig required meticulous trimming of the bangs and layers; moreover, silver-white hair reflects light easily on camera, and slight missteps in lighting can look unnatural, so finding the optimal balance between highlights and shadows across the venue floor took patience. The golden crown prop was quite heavy, requiring frequent repositioning whenever it tilted slightly. The outfit's charm lies in the combination of Chinese frog buttons and the blue gradient cape; to convey an airy lightness, slightly structured fabrics were selected.

During prep, I deliberately practiced character-accurate poses, including the oppressive tension of an outstretched reaching hand, provocative finger-pointing directed straight at the lens, and the conflicted nuance of clutching the crown. The convention hall was crowded, so to secure clean backgrounds, we scouted quieter corners and leveraged dim overhead bokeh to blur distracting elements. The synergy with fellow model @Yangmu and our post-production artist was seamless, infusing the frames with a rich, cool-toned mood.

Completing this set was genuinely tiring—the garments were relatively thick, and holding a cold, composed expression throughout was demanding—yet capturing candid, organic moments in these Convention photos made the entire journey rewarding. While absolute perfection is difficult to achieve, pouring my heart into embodying the character's core essence made this a thoroughly satisfying endeavor.
