Bringing Ellen Joe to life this time involved tremendous effort from outfit preparation to prop fabrication. Starting with the signature maid uniform: to balance domestic housekeeping vibes with combat readiness, I selected a heavyweight matte textile. The crisscrossed leather straps across the chest and waist, silver chains, and metallic grommets were assembled using textured metal hardware rather than lightweight plastics to convey authentic weight on camera. The asymmetrical hemline and the black cross motif on a white field along the side were meticulously aligned against official references.

For the wig, black short bob hair with blunt bangs accented by that vivid red streak on the right was crucial. To ensure the red strands blended naturally rather than looking like an unnatural block of color, I chose a gradient base wig and hand-cut and styled it. The cross and square hair clips on the bangs required precise positioning so facial proportions wouldn't look skewed. Makeup focused primarily on the eyes: slightly elongated wings with a delicate reddish blush blend, paired with colored contact lenses to recreate her cool, languid gaze.

The oversized weapon prop was undeniably the biggest workout of the shoot. Despite weight-reduction techniques on the long shaft and massive blade, holding it aloft for extended periods fatigued my arms. Posing required continuous adjustments to project the character's formidable strength without appearing visibly strained. Furthermore, the massive shark tail behind me had internal structural framing; navigating on set demanded extra care to keep it from sweeping into surrounding railings.

For the lower half, I styled semi-sheer Black stockings with jagged thigh bands cinched tightly, which dug in slightly during prolonged walking. Black Mary Jane heels with red accent heels created authentic friction against the Black stockings as I walked, reinforcing character fidelity. The silver-gray mechanical arm gauntlets restricted wrist articulation, requiring adjusted grip techniques when handling weapons or posing hand gestures.

Securing the ear fin accessories along the sides of the wig took serious work; to hug the head shape seamlessly, I used invisible hairnets and bobby pins for double reinforcement to prevent shifting during head tilts and turns. The spiked black choker around the collar was molded from soft rubber with smoothed edges to prevent neck chafing. The layered contrast between the white ruffled cuffs and black arm sleeves cast clean shadow definition whenever I raised my arms or held objects. Resting during breaks, the sweeping tail design meant sitting sideways along the steps, which drew amusing, curious glances from passersby.

Shooting in outdoor sunlight made the metallic sheens and accessories pop far better than in a studio, heightening the black-and-white contrast. The session was an ongoing cycle of balancing prop weight and touching up makeup; managing the colossal tail and heavy weapon was physically demanding, but seeing the final images proved that every detail met expectations.
