This Astra Yao photoshoot from Zenless Zone Zero adopts a Fashion magazine editorial layout that I have long wanted to explore, serving as a commemorative release for the game's 2nd anniversary.

The guiding concept was transcending conventional cosplay conventions by integrating character aesthetics into modern editorial haute couture. During styling fittings, fabric sheens and textural interplay were top priorities. Under studio strobe keys, the patent leather dress cast crisp specular reflections, while golden breast buttons and delicate lace trimmings lent a classic vintage allure across the monochromatic palette. Down below, White stockings accessorized with a thigh garter and black bow stilettos visually stretched lower-body proportions within the frame.

For posing, I referenced vintage magazine cover portraits, maintaining a poised, slightly detached gaze while gripping a gilded mechanical prop to anchor compositional balance. The emerald-green backdrop wall, ornate golden picture frames, and checkerboard floor tiles infused the scene with opulent vintage flair, harmonizing with Astra Yao's blend of in-universe narrative presence and high-fashion poise.

The photographer's studio lighting was exceptionally nuanced, pulling out glossy leather sheens alongside the supple, matte texture of the White stockings.
