The Ye Shunguang convention photos shot at the Zhanjiang Yunxige Comic Con are finally ready. The reflective surface of the blue pool at the venue worked wonders, harmonizing seamlessly with the geometric steel framework across the ceiling to create an incredible vibe. This costume is packed with intricate details—a pristine white base accented with yellow and red strap harnesses, alongside a massive tail and cascading ribbons—which heavily tested my physical balance while wearing it. Anchoring the substantial tail securely at my waist required meticulous center-of-gravity control during sprints and leaps.

I coordinated closely with photographer Huanghun, aiming primarily to freeze moments of mid-air suspension. Because the wet poolside was slick and shifting weight mid-leap was precarious, we retried the jump nearly twenty times. Regarding lighting, dusk side-lighting paired with watery reflections accentuated the garment's layered dimensions. To elongate leg lines, the photographer utilized a wide-angle lens from a low perspective—a choice that stretched visual proportions while demanding careful framing to prevent peripheral barrel distortion.

The Zhanjiang Comic Convention floor was packed, so waiting out crowds to secure this pristine, uncluttered backdrop took considerable patience. Preventing slips demanded constant mindfulness of the platform soles' grip, especially near the pool's rim. Executing these leaps relied heavily on core engagement: I needed to remain poised and extended in mid-air while choreographing the drift of the skirt and ribbons to maximize kinetic tension. Substantial effort went into tailoring and props as well, from canonical leg tattoos to handheld weaponry faithfully aligned with character lore.

The shooting rhythm remained swift thanks to the photographer's sharp shutter timing, preserving natural fluidity without stiff poses. Factoring in ambient specular highlights across the venue, we skipped external strobes and relied purely on available ambient light paired with high ISO, securing crisp textural fidelity and expansive dynamic range. Bringing Ye Shunguang to life at this event proved to be an unforgettable experience. Overcoming venue constraints while maintaining energy yielded deeply gratifying results, with post-processing faithfully retaining organic fabric weaves without excessive artificial smoothing.
