When shooting this Bride cosplay style, the core visual focus was the oversized skirt hem and exquisite accessories. To make the frame look dynamic, the shooting space inside the birdcage was actually quite limited, requiring reasonable space utilization to showcase the layers of the skirt. For instance, in the eighth photo, I chose to lightly lift one leg and step onto my high heel, which not only elongated the body proportions but also naturally displayed the lines of the White stockings and the details of the golden sock ornaments. This slightly revealed posture combined with the confinement feel of the birdcage easily creates a contrasting effect.

The texture of the costume places extremely high demands on light and shadow. Satin material is prone to overexposure under strong light, so during lighting setup, we intentionally arranged auxiliary light sources beneath the skirt hem to give the tulle parts a translucent effect while darkening the background to make the subject and blooming flowers stand out more. As seen in the third and seventh photos, whether sitting among the flowers or standing in the center of the birdcage, I tried to keep my body extended, shoulders dropped, and back actively straightened so that the skirt—shorter in front and longer in the back—could spread out naturally and appear more three-dimensional.

Regarding facial expression guidance, I chose a softer yet presence-filled gaze for this photo set. Utilizing the combination of contact lenses and eye makeup, slightly tightening the chin while gazing straight into the lens can make the eyes look more vivid. At the same time, because I was wearing a very long wig, when turning my head, I had to gently brush the strands aside with my hand to avoid hair blocking facial contours. In the second photo, I am half-lying among the flowers; to prevent creases from forming on the skirt, I was actually suspended using core strength, so when posing, you must find your own points of force rather than forcing awkward poses to avoid losing control of your facial expression.

Also, the utilization of props. For items like shells and pearls, I usually rest my hands lightly on them or, like in the ninth photo, make a reaching-out interactive motion toward the lens to enhance the narrative feel of the frame. Since the shoe heels are extremely high, feet get very tired after prolonged shooting; it's recommended to carry a pair of flat shoes and rest timely during scene transition breaks. The color palette of this set leans toward macarons; during post-processing, pay attention to preserving skin translucency while ensuring the purple-blue tones of the flowers aren't too muddy, creating an exceptionally wonderful overall atmosphere. I hope these small shooting tips offer some reference for anyone wanting to shoot in a similar style, and during studio shoots, you can communicate more with the photographer about positioning and lighting angles to try different physical expressions.

Regarding the makeup details of this Bride cosplay, I'll add a point about the use of highlighter. Since the indoor lighting is strong, the base makeup should be kept as light and thin as possible, dotting a small amount of highlighter on the tip of the nose, collarbones, and shoulders to enhance skin translucency and gloss. Wig maintenance is also crucial; the veil and feather hair ornaments on top of the head need to be firmly fixed to the wig net with bobby pins to prevent shifting during the shoot. While posing, I also intentionally used the wide sleeve cuffs to block arm lines, making the overall styling look more elegant.
