Sharing a set of Honkai: Star Rail Tribbie cosplay convention photos taken at Ziyu Convention. My absolute favorite from this set is the mid-air jumping snapshot—it looks like Superman taking off! But to capture the most natural fluttering effect of the skirt and pink ribbons, I actually squatted and jumped over a dozen times, which really tested my core strength. The white skirt paired with tall boots, plus the red hair and elf ears, gives the entire look a very lively and agile feel. A badminton birdie happened to fly overhead during the shoot, pushing the dynamic sense of motion to the max. The lighting on-site was rather complex, but using dark glass doors as a background made the subject stand out cleanly without needing to actively avoid the chaotic crowd. The photographer's framing was fantastic; combined with custom props, intricate headwear, and careful styling and makeup, slipping on those pointed ears instantly immersed me into character. As convention photos, there was no time for elaborate retouching, but the raw snapshots carry a distinct sense of realism. The combination of red hair and a white skirt brightens the skin tone, and while the tall boots wrap the legs tightly, I still had to be careful when half-squatting and rising. Fortunately, the final results turned out great, fully capturing the vibrant anime convention atmosphere. Among the five photos, this jumping shot has the most centered composition with no edge cropping issues, and the dynamic pose perfectly showcases the lines of the skirt and legs, making it ideal for the cover. The convention atmosphere was lively, and I met many fellow fans during the shoot—chatting about characters and prop crafting was pure joy. The red hair really popped against the cool reflection of the glass doors, instantly bringing out the 2D aesthetic. Running around the venue was tiring, but bringing a beloved character to life and sharing that joy with everyone is the most meaningful part of doing cosplay. This shoot went smoothly and stands as one of my most satisfying records from Ziyu Convention.
