Many friends remarked in the comment section that this Aemeath look seems to have a fragile yet resilient aesthetic. Actually, when preparing for this shoot, I kept thinking about how to recreate her complex inner state. To fit the feeling of the quote "capable of perceiving sadness, yet also frequently feeling happy" mentioned in the post, I intentionally exercised some restraint in my expression management. If I smiled too brightly, it would break that layer of faint melancholy on the character; but if I didn't smile at all, it would seem too cold, clashing with the lightweight tulle and colorful gradients on the skirt.

We put a lot of hard work into the production details of the costume this time. For the wig, I selected pink gradient fibers. The blue floating halo bracket on top of my head is actually made of a combination of very thin acrylic and metal wires; to make it look like it's truly floating in the air, we adjusted its center of gravity many times before the photoshoot. For the eye makeup, I applied light pink eyeshadow paired with slightly curled eyelashes, which can present a subtle moist look under the lights, making the gaze look clear, translucent, and a bit mysterious.

What satisfies me most about this outfit is the design of the skirt hem. The white gauze and blue-and-pink gradient drapery on the lower body are actually made of very lightweight chiffon, so it can flutter naturally with just a bit of wind or a slightly larger movement from me. Coupled with the white over-the-knee boots and golden armor decorations, it possesses both the heroic spirit of a combat character and retains the lightweight feel of an Anime girl. The length of the gloves goes right above the wrist, which, together with the upper arm decorations, beautifully elongates the lines of the hands visually.

The venue for this shoot was chosen in a place with plenty of European-style carvings and floral arrangements. The vintage white iron arch and the pink bouquets next to it set a very gentle keynote for the entire set of photos. To coordinate with this dreamy atmosphere outfit, I selected sitting and semi-reclining postures, which can showcase the leg lines while allowing the skirt hem to spread out naturally into a beautiful fan shape. For props, I held the glowing microphone model and the gradient longsword that match the setting. To find the most natural holding posture, we tried several angles and eventually found that when my legs were slightly crossed and the props were leaned obliquely against my body, the frame carried the strongest narrative depth, as if it were a private moment of the character relaxing.

The only thing that felt a bit troublesome during the shooting process was the halo on top of my head, because it required a fixed angle so it wouldn't look like a clip. The photographer kept guiding me to adjust my head posture, and during close-ups, we even shot a lot of discarded takes just to avoid glare and ensure the halo was in the frame. However, when seeing the final facial close-up, the entire facial contour looked exceptionally soft under the gentle light, and combined with the coverage of the airy bangs, it fit the character's setting even better than a fully exposed face. Although the center of gravity of this outfit is relatively low, when spinning or doing some exaggerated movements, the drape of the white clothing brings a smooth dynamic beauty.

All in all, bringing out the unique temperament belonging to the world of Wuthering Waves for Aemeath this time can be considered as fulfilling a small wish of my own. During the fine-tuning process between styling and Cosplay photography, even if I was wearing thick gloves and boots in a stuffy indoor room, seeing the image effects on the monitor made me feel that everything was completely worth it. I hope this set of photos allows everyone to feel my love and interpretation for the character.
