Putting on this gear of Vita and capturing the feeling of light and shadow by the wooden window was truly fantastic. This time, I specially chose this scene with a touch of industrial style and a small loft feel, which matches the interwoven atmosphere of technology and mystery in Honkai Impact 3rd unexpectedly well. The grey-blue tone of the wig gives off a very special luster under warm light, and the metal pieces of the hair ornaments along with the blue-white-gold color-blocking details on the clothes can reflect a sense of layering with just a slight adjustment of angles during shooting. The patchwork of the leather parts and fabrics of the costume highly tests the patternmaking, especially to ensure that the sharpness of the shoulders and waistline can be maintained even while sitting, but fortunately, it was already adjusted during fittings. The finger-cot design of the gloves places high demands on movements, but I really love this kind of small item that can increase a character's presence. This shoot strove as much as possible to restore the character's lazy yet at-ease demeanor; when sitting sideways, I deliberately elongated the leg lines, which, paired with the high-heeled boots, better reflects Vita's body proportions. The post-processing didn't do too much exaggerated modification, mainly strengthening the warm-and-cold contrast of light and shadow to let the outdoor natural light and indoor warm atmosphere blend more naturally. Every time I cosplay a Honkai Impact 3rd character, I feel like I am having a dialogue with myself from another dimension; the moment I put on these gears, the temperament in every gesture naturally changes with it, which is probably the most fascinating part of cosplay.
