Having wrapped up this Arknights Amiya cosplay shoot at the Wuhan CGF convention, today I'm sharing detailed insights behind styling this look. I chose this classic trench coat and plaid skirt ensemble because of its rich visual layering. The long, dark trench coat features a vibrant blue lining on the inside, which billows dynamically while walking alongside silver-white tassel streamers to create strong motion. The base white pleated shirt contrasts crisply with the dark neckpiece, while the plaid pleated skirt below is paired with black tights and glossy loafers to flatter the leg lines beautifully before the lens.

For makeup, to honor the character's design, I wore bright blue cosmetic contacts and applied eyeshadow with subtle blue-pink iridescent shimmer. Under the convention hall's cool-toned ambient lighting, these glitters refracted delicate gleams, rendering the eyes exceptionally clear and luminous. The bunny ears atop the head were the focal point of the styling; the plush texture needed fluffing in advance, and the attachment angle required careful adjustment for a seamless blend with the wig. The blue ring on my finger was also worn to echo the inner coat lining, as thematic consistency in details often defines a photo set's overall quality.

Throughout shooting, pose choreography was key to elevating expressiveness. While standing, I used arm extensions to showcase the garment's tailoring—such as extending one arm out to the side to pull open the trench coat's silhouette, conveying a sharp and tactical presence. In seated poses, naturally stretching out my legs not only highlighted the light and shadow across the Black stockings, but also allowed the plaid skirt's pleats to fan out organically as an eye-catching focal point. In crouching poses, raising both hands to gently adjust the bunny ears added a playful touch, which, combined with the convention hall's dim background and overhead point lighting, instantly conjured the right atmosphere.

Because the lighting inside the venue was complex with dominant cool sources, photographer 原po paid close attention to lighting angles during dynamic snapshots. For example, side-rim lighting carved out subject contours, accentuating the volume of the trench coat and the tactile weave of the stockings. When posing, I faced toward the key light as much as possible to avoid harsh facial shadows. Compositions kept the subject as the absolute center without clutter, purely showcasing the costume details and posture tension. These Convention photos from Wuhan CGF brought immense satisfaction in both styling completeness and photographic presentation, seamlessly channeling my love for this Bunny girl character into every shutter release.
