A lot of effort went into recreating this Jungle knot dress, from the black-and-white color-blocked off-shoulder tailored cut to the layered ruffles on the skirt—every detail exudes refinement. This shoot took place in a wooden vintage study, where the green trees outside the large floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly resonated with the character's natural and serene disposition. The angle of light was crucial: soft afternoon sunlight drifted through the window, casting comfortable contours across my face and outfit while creating a beautiful contrast between the black vest and the white skirt.

The headpiece was the most challenging part; featuring bunny ears along with feathers and mechanical metallic accents, every adjustment required careful attention to the angle for fear of it slipping or tilting. But once put on, the character's ethereal, elven charm immediately came alive. Paired with blue-gray contact lenses, the gaze carries a hint of melancholy and resolve. The gloves and leg ring details also took a long time to craft; particularly the blue leg ring—though just a small accent, it pops vibrant against the overall black-and-white palette, catching the eye visually.

As for posing, I tried several variations: sitting on the window sill, standing with crossed arms, and sitting on the floor. I personally favor the shot leaning against the window with arms crossed—the overlapping hands perfectly highlight the fluffiness of the skirt, while pointing my toes visually elongates the leg lines. The photographer was adept at utilizing foreground blur, such as white flowers in a vase and the edge of the bookshelf, keeping the focus entirely on me to give the imagery rich layers and narrative depth.

Honestly, the hardest part of cosplay isn't the costume, but how to express the character's gentle warmth and steadfastness as a guardian through eyes and body language without speaking a word. We shot for a long time that day, moving from standing to sitting on the floor until the skirt developed quite a few creases, but seeing the final photos illuminated by the light through the window and my carefully recreated look made every effort worthwhile. Though this bunny maid outfit looks light and airy, its actual inner structure and detailed accessories are far from simple, requiring me to maintain an upright, posture-perfect stance the entire time.

The photographer's color grading was also fantastic—it preserved the warm wooden tone of the room while highlighting the clarity of my skin and the vivid blue of my eyes. Without relying on heavy filters, vintage photography achieved a film-like cinematic texture. I hope this share conveys the passion put into this Arknights outfit, and I'd like to extend my thanks to all team members during our shoot, who seamlessly coordinated everything from touching up makeup to managing stray hair strands.

Every time I finish shooting a character I love, I gain a deeper appreciation for the charm of their design. It is not merely a photographic record, but a profound dialogue with the original work. Being able to wear such a meticulously designed outfit in a quiet setting and enjoy the shooting process is a deeply rewarding experience in itself.
