[Amiya cosplay] Arknights Rhodes Island Leader: Vintage Study Photoshoot

Today's look features Amiya from Arknights. To match this fusion of vintage nostalgia and ethnic bohemian flair, I paired a white sleeveless lace vest with a tiered teal-green skirt boasting geometric prints and elongated fringe tassels. A brown leather belt studded with metallic hardware anchored the waist with tangible heft. The headpiece—combining bunny ears with a floral headband—formed the focal core of the styling, working together with brown-highlighted hair and side braids to make her presence feel delightfully lively.

The location was set in a timber study; dark wood bookshelves, a vintage globe, and an old rotary dial telephone lent an authentic historical ambiance. During the shoot, I deliberately embraced languid postures—such as curling up barefoot on an intricately carved wooden chair or resting my legs casually across the tabletop—using body language to subvert conventional demureness and heighten visual tension. Warm ambient lighting was prioritized, blending soft desk lamp glow with natural window light to sculpt a tranquil yet vibrantly alive environment.

In everyone's mind, Amiya is an Energetic girl who remains fiercely steadfast even while shouldering crushing responsibilities. For this session, I wanted to capture her shedding that battlefield tension, unwinding peacefully in a scholarly sanctuary. Stripping away heavy ornamentation, simply holding a bouquet of fresh blossoms beneath the sunlight offered a moment of pristine serenity. For makeup, cyan contact lenses harmonized directly with matching nail polish and neck jewelry accents.

To emphasize the Bohemian spirit, the fringe along the skirt hem and the studded rivets of the belt were meticulously aligned to guarantee immaculate layering in dynamic shots. While stepping away from her default design, core signatures like the bunny ears and blue-teal accents remained intact, making it an enjoyable stylistic departure. In terms of prop interaction, the vintage globe and rotary phone were wonderful anchors: gently grazing the telephone handset or cradling the bouquet against the bookshelf infused the frames with organic storytelling. Between takes, I conferred with the photographer regarding lighting angles, utilizing side rim-backlighting to trace hair strands and silhouette contours.
