[Wishadel cosplay] Arknights Warm Lighting Convention Photos: Mirror Selfie with Her Highness - Image 1

In the afternoon, taking advantage of the great lighting at the venue, I quickly grabbed Her Highness for a mirror selfie by the wall. These Warm lighting convention photos felt really comfortable; even though it was just a quick snap with a phone, the atmospheric vibe was completely on point. I cosplayed as Wishadel myself. This outfit actually took quite a bit of effort—the jacket is oversized with plenty of tactical straps and white splicing details. The fabric has a nice drape, though it's fairly heavy. The wig was styled very fluffy, and combined with the red skeletal headpiece, I'm personally quite satisfied with the level of restoration.

To complement this outfit, I specifically adjusted the contrast in my makeup to make my facial features pop and deepened the contouring; otherwise, features tend to get washed out under indoor convention lights. Standing alongside Her Highness Theresa Cosplay, the atmosphere of sharing the frame was maxed out. Her black-and-white long dress design is very elegant, with refined horn ornaments on the shoulders and black stripes on the dress. Combined with her silver-pink wig styling, the two of us standing together formed a perfect contrast between tactical hardness and elegance.

I actually really like taking upper-body mirror selfies because, compared to large scenes, this composition highlights seam textures and accessory details on the outfit much better. Phone photography is super convenient, and finding the right angle avoids awkward edge crops. The wooden background wall and adjacent pillar formed a very clean frame, enclosing the two of us perfectly without any cluttered watermarks or ad text.

Meeting Her Highness at the convention this time made me so happy. We're usually very busy preparing our own costumes, so being able to dress up in our characters and snap a photo together at the same venue is a wonderfully memorable moment. Although we had to adjust our hair and hems occasionally during the shoot, the moment we saw the photos, all the preparation felt entirely worth it.

Come to think of it, Wishadel's look is quite demanding regarding body proportions for cosplayers. Fortunately, the shoulder lines and overall silhouette of this costume modified my frame slightly, yielding a bold and presence-filled result. I didn't shoot full-body photos this time since the mirror selfie cropped above the waist, but the aura belonging to this character was definitely captured. I'm not particularly fond of long, dramatic speeches, but I truly enjoy this process of bringing beloved characters into reality—especially together with friends.

Adjusting warm light alongside contrast, on-site lighting wasn't tampered with much in post-processing, making it look more authentic while preserving that unique convention atmosphere. There were plenty of daytime activities, so taking a quick casual record during break time lets me look back on it for a long time. I look forward to releasing some better Arknights cosplay photos tonight, but this casual daily snap alone is enough to make me very happy.
