[Amiya cosplay] Arknights Amiya Arrives Carrying White Rabbit Creamy Candy

The definitive centerpiece of this Amiya coordinate was undoubtedly the colossal White Rabbit creamy candy bolster in my arms. When first designing this shoot, the immediate instinct was to harmonize Amiya's innate sweetness with the nostalgic warmth of the candy. From concept drafting to final deliverables, the entire process spanned roughly a week.

For the wardrobe, I selected a blue-and-white checkered dress adorned with a white lace apron and ruffled puff sleeves, keeping the color story breezy and refreshing. To recreate her canon traits, I sourced realistic brown faux-fur rabbit ears; their tactile texture was remarkably lifelike, blending seamlessly into the wig's root tones. Styling the wig required considerable care: blunt bangs and face-framing sidelocks ensured flattering contouring, while the curved flick of the ends was heat-set with hairspray. A practical tip for indoor sets: always tame flyaways with hairspray beforehand to prevent stray strands from casting messy specular glints under studio strobes.

The set was staged inside an interior space decorated with vintage furnishings and botanical arrangements. Terracotta-brown floor tiles, a polished wooden piano, and neatly organized books lent the frame a gentle, nostalgic baseline warmth. This collision between classical European decor and anime styling generated surprising visual harmony. The floral arrangements were equally deliberate: violet-and-white blossoms and lush potted greenery framed the edges, enriching compositional balance without distracting from the character.

Lighting control was essential throughout the session. Because it was an indoor location, we relied on soft, diffused daylight pouring through the windows augmented by silver bounce reflectors, softening facial shadows while rendering the typographic details of the White Rabbit creamy candy prop crisp and legible. The prop bolster was substantial in scale and carried genuine physical weight, yet it offered an organic anchor for posing: whether reclining upon the floor with legs outstretched or resting on a wooden chair looking down fondly at the bolster, it imbued the frame with storytelling warmth. When posing, I kept my hands naturally curved along the bolster's contours to avoid stiff, forced postures.

On the lower half, I wore white crew-length White stockings paired with black Mary Jane shoes, which accentuated youthful sweetness while elongating leg lines. During seated postures, extending the line of the legs was paramount—such as in the second shot on the floor with one leg straight and the other bent; paired with a slight torso lean, it highlighted garment textures while injecting dimensional tension. When composing seated shots, toe point and knee alignment fundamentally dictate aesthetic proportions, where micro-adjustments dramatically enhance the visual silhouette.

Because the styling highlighted blue, white, and red plaid accents, we deliberately muted background color saturation. Post-processing leaned into warm film tones, softening contrast slightly to impart a gentle, nostalgic glow. From palette coordination to prop fabrication, every element stayed faithful to Amiya's persona in Arknights while embracing the playful crossover of White Rabbit creamy candy. Though hauling props and managing costume layers was physically demanding, seeing the final frames made every moment deeply worthwhile.
