This shoot was chosen to take place in an indoor bedroom, primarily aiming to present a cool, refreshing summer at-home atmosphere. The overall pairing is a classic Japanese style photography aesthetic featuring a Sailor suit: a white long-sleeved top with a dark navy blue sailor collar, accented by a large red bow at the neckline to brighten the overall tone. The lower half features a dark pleated skirt, paired with translucent White stockings. For the hairstyle, a Twintails design was chosen with straight-cut bangs; the makeup emphasizes blush and a clear, translucent texture, paired with light-colored contact lenses. To match the at-home feel of the clothing, we used many everyday props, such as a bed covered with white sheets and a green knitted blanket, casually adorned with a woven basket filled with green apples and green grapes, a straw fan, and an acoustic guitar placed to the side. A lot of thought went into decorating the room: the background shelf displayed a vintage desk lamp, a calendar, and books, plant scenery cards were pasted on the wall, and plenty of green plants like monstera and hydrangeas were placed around, making the frame look vibrant. The lighting during the shoot mainly relied on natural light filtering through the blinds, soft yet possessing a certain sense of layering. Posing on the bed actually tests core strength quite a bit. The first photo shows sitting on the edge of the bed fixing hair with one hand, legs crossed; this posture requires keeping the waist and back straight while slightly pulling the legs inward to visually elongate leg lines and facilitate showcasing the texture of the White stockings. The second is a front-facing sitting posture with legs naturally extended and hands placed in front, where the photographer slightly lowered the camera angle, utilizing perspective to lengthen leg proportions while the foreground greenery and fruit basket increased depth of field. The third is kneeling on the bed looking back sideways; this action requires paying attention to the stress points on the knees and insteps, as well as controlling the fold direction of the pleated skirt to prevent wardrobe malfunctions or a bulky look. The entire shooting process lasted over three hours, during which continuous adjustments of clothing edges and skirt hem positions were needed, especially the red bow at the neckline, ensuring it remained full and dimensional. The greenery in the background also required micro-adjustments based on composition at any moment, such as moving away large leaves blocking the light or intentionally letting leaves appear at the frame edge as foreground. Overall, physical fatigue was present, but seeing the clean color matching and soft light-shadow transitions in the final photos made all the prior staging and shooting hustle entirely worthwhile. This photo set has no specific plot setup, primarily pursuing a relaxed, everyday, and gentle visual experience. Post-processing color grading also tried to retain the original brightness of the raw photos, applying only basic color correction to make the greens and whites clearer and more transparent.
