[Fang the Fire-sharpened cosplay] Arknights 5th Anniversary Carnival On-Site

In the gap right before the booth closed at the Arknights Carnival 5th Anniversary, the photographer snapped this set of Fang the Fire-sharpened cosplay shots nearby. Participating in this offline event as an official cosplayer, the atmosphere and stage setup on-site matched the operator's tactical style perfectly.

Regarding this look, the wig featured a light blue-green gradient tone with a lightweight texture. Matching ears were secured on top without looking out of place, while retro round-frame goggles balanced practicality and decoration. Eye makeup and base makeup were kept clean and crisp to fit the character's sharp demeanor, blending cleanly with the cold-toned convention lights for sharp photo returns.

The outfit actually contained many layers and detail considerations. The top layer was an off-white vest adorned with geometric webbing and metal buckles across the chest and shoulders. The inner layer was a dark blue-black spliced long-sleeved damaged top with asymmetrical waist cutouts to expose the waist, balancing the heaviness of tactical gear without feeling stuffy. The lower half consisted of army green cargo pants tucked at the calves. Hard black tactical knee pads were fitted at the knees, where golden paw print textures served as the visual highlight of the lower body. The belt used a chain design of silver metal rings to contrast with the black main tone. Asymmetrical arm guards and bandages were equipped on the arms, complemented by black tactical gloves and thick black motorcycle boots, offering high accuracy in every piece.

For props, I carried a long polearm weapon with a silver-grey metallic shaft, topped with a golden deployable geometric structure inlaid with white circular bumps. These materials gave varied light-and-shadow feedback under venue lighting, so we utilized the prop's lines to design poses during the shoot.

Shooting took place in the late afternoon near closing time when foot traffic was relatively sparse, with the surrounding environment featuring black metal trusses and cool neon lines. The photographer spent just over ten minutes quickly capturing several suitable angles in the gaps, including standing and seated compositions. The seated pose in particular utilized black-and-yellow geometric blocks on-site as a foreground, set against background elements featuring Arknights 5th Anniversary branding. Half-body close-ups highlighted top distressing and cut details, while full-body compositions displayed prop length and overall tactical style for Alter Fang. The entire shoot was compact, yet photo clarity and background layering were maintained throughout.

Shooting on-site at a convention really tests lighting and positioning, but this official set came with rich structural lines where minor angle adjustments easily avoided complex irrelevant elements. Walking through the 5th-anniversary event in this gear and feeling everyone's recognition for the character and work made this a deeply meaningful cosplay recording.
