[Oberon cosplay] A Serene Summer Convention Photo Among Flowers from Last Year's FGO Fes - Image 2

Looking back at this set of Oberon convention photos taken at last year's FGO Fes, I still find myself loving them particularly. The location the photographer found was absolutely incredible—a wall full of pink roses combined with cool-toned lighting beautifully set off this casual yet ethereal white outfit, making it look exceptionally clean. The blue popsicle in my hand at that time was actually a spontaneous prop, but it turned out to match the overall color palette surprisingly well.

As for whether it can be held this year, I am actually waiting for the news just like everyone else. I've already ordered a brand-new outfit, and I truly want to wear it out at the convention. Although many photos were taken previously, I've always been very partial to this combination—the loose top and shorts structure, along with the little accent of sunglasses, isn't as heavy as those hard-core combat armors. Instead, it perfectly fits the refreshing vibe of summer cosplay. The photographer let the light diffuse naturally back then, making the skin texture look much more translucent, and the post-processing also tried its best to restore this intersection of low-saturation cream white and pink.

It was quite hot when we shot this, but for the sake of the final effect, the makeup and styling details were fully taken care of. The combination of the wig and eye makeup was deliberately referenced from the feel of some fan art. The meaning of a cosplayer going to a convention, besides being able to merge with one's favorite character, is to enjoy those happy moments of being recognized by everyone and then interacting and taking a photo together.

I hope the official announcement brings good news this year, as I really want to go to the venue wearing my new outfit. Even if it's just walking around and soaking in the passion among fellow hobbyists, it would be deeply fulfilling. Although this set of photos is posted a bit late, it is the exact finished set that makes me look forward to this summer the most.
