Shooting this set of client photos for Phainon cosplay focused heavily on outfit layering and prop texture presentation. The overall color scheme of this styling centers on white, black, and gold, accented with deep blue, creating a very clean, sharp visual while bringing out a slightly solemn, chilly atmosphere. During preparation, to match the character's temperament, the trimming curve of the silver-white wig was adjusted multiple times; the silver-white strands needed rich layering so as not to look like a heavy helmet, while maintaining a soft, natural hair flow under lighting. For makeup, a cool-toned eyeshadow with strong contouring effect was used, emphasizing the eyeliner to give the eyes a sharp, vivid look. Paired with matching blue contact lenses, it maintained a cool and aloof posture before the camera.
The detail that could not be compromised in this outfit was the heavy greatsword prop. Its crossguard features a golden geometric star structure, with a striking ruby embedded in the center and blue-and-white lines along the side of the blade. During actual filming, this greatsword prop had great weight balance, guaranteeing a powerful visual impact on camera without becoming unmanageable when swung. Selecting shoot locations was also a vital link for the finalized set. Shooting in a pure white studio was relatively direct and sharp; using top lighting combined with large softboxes maximized the metallic sheen on costume pauldrons and glossy leather details, making it ideal for showing dynamic tension. On the other hand, the real-scene vintage study leaned more toward narrative, where the brown leather sofa, wooden bookshelves, and diamond-pane windows created a rich storybook atmosphere under sliced light and shadow. The yellowed letter in the second photo served as a great prop—holding it while executing subtle gestures like touching my hair pulled the mood back into a quiet, introspective state.
Regarding outfit texture, the white outerwear utilized structured fabric, while the black lining and leather straps elevated overall layering, topped with a star-shaped metal chest piece. The boots featured a black base with yellow edges and paneling details, offering a steady stance during standing poses. For the blue cape with gold trim that fluttered with movement, fans were specifically used to generate air currents, giving the fabric a soaring pose in the air and outlining an imposing dynamic silhouette during the single-knee kneel.
