Many friends ask me if I really attend classes at school. In fact, as an ordinary student, I spend most of my time balancing my studies and hobbies, which is actually a very real state of being. Choosing to shoot in a white studio for this JK style was mainly to restore that pure and calm atmosphere. The tailoring of the uniform is quite high-end on camera, especially that red ribbon, which is very eye-catching against the black and white main tone. During the White studio photography process, I paid special attention to the distribution of light and shadow, because although the background is simple, it can easily look flat if the lighting is not handled well. So I communicated many details with the photographer, trying to find the layers of the character in the minimalist composition to avoid the picture being too monotonous. In fact, JK is not just a kind of outfit, but more of a reconstruction of youth memories and an expression of a specific aesthetic. Every time I put on the clothes, it's like entering my own creative space, temporarily escaping the trivialities of reality. Although the shooting process is quite physically demanding, requiring constant adjustment of posture and expressions, seeing the final photos, the conversion from 2D to 3D is really fulfilling. I hope this set of photos can convey that simple yet exquisite visual language and record the color and mood of this moment.
