The character design of Ms. Tayama inherently carries an intense sense of contrast: an ordinary supermarket clerk by day who transforms into a rebellious street queen at night. To express this aura, I put extensive effort into the hair and makeup styling. For the wig, I specifically chose a highly saturated red, trimmed with slightly disheveled blunt bangs and a high ponytail. Paired with reddish-brown eyeshadow and red contact lenses, this gave the eyes a sharp yet faintly languid expression. The lip makeup utilized a matte red to chromaticly echo the hair. For accessories, the black choker with a metallic buckle and long golden drop earrings served as signature finishing touches, elevating the street aesthetic to the max without feeling over-cluttered.

In terms of wardrobe styling, the centerpiece was a white ribbed bodycon camisole mini dress layered under a black leather biker jacket. I deliberately wore the leather jacket slipped halfway off, revealing the silhouette of the shoulders and collarbones, while cinching the waist with a wide black leather belt. The lower half was paired with sheer black stockings and white pointed-toe chunky-heeled ankle boots; this stark contrast between black and white aligned seamlessly with the character's complex visual tension. For props, a lit cigarette was indispensable—the rhythm of puffing and exhaling smoke helped me instantly anchor the character's emotional tone, making my overall demeanor appear effortlessly relaxed and untamed.

The shooting location was an outdoor corner featuring blue chain-link fencing, graffiti walls, and trash bins, perfectly complementing the street-style setting. Night photography poses demanding lighting requirements, so we brought portable fill lights. By taking advantage of the contrast between cool and warm lighting from on-site circular lightboxes alongside the scattering of smoke particles under the illumination, we crafted a distinctly cinematic atmosphere. To channel that swaggering, badass presence, poses couldn't look overly forced; I leaned against a black trash bin, crossing my legs to elongate the leg lines, or turned sideways to display the draping profile of the half-dropped biker jacket. The lens captured not only the long legs clad in black stockings and curves, but more importantly, that nonchalant, aloof gaze.

The entire shoot paid meticulous attention to nuance—such as the hand posture holding the cigarette, the timing of exhaling smoke, and capturing the breeze catching flyaway strands, all of which required continuous trials and adjustments. Although I was the only person in frame for this photoset, while conceptualizing the scenes I kept picturing that shared dynamic of two people sneaking cigarettes behind the supermarket, enjoying a fleeting moment of stolen freedom. Cosplaying as Ms. Tayama allowed me to experience the ultimate thrill of switching between daytime and nighttime personas, and I hope to convey this singular blend of cold glamour and untamed ease through these lights, shadows, and body language.
