This shoot was primarily focused on recreating Kokomi's scenes from the official game PV by the seaside, while also bringing fragments from that fan-made animated hand-drawn video in P2 into real life. I've always adored the gentle mood of that hand-drawn creation, which inspired me to prepare this Cosplay photoshoot.

First, let's talk about the outfit. I wore the Delusion3 version, which features a silhouette true to the game's design, though it must be said that the dye leans slightly bluer than usual. Compared to the original artwork, the heavy blue cast creates a noticeable color difference under natural light. However, against the backdrop of seawater and sand, this cooler blue tone actually introduced an airy, ethereal mood, so I simply went with it—after all, I never aimed for a 1:1 strict carbon copy, wanting instead to convey the visual imagery of my own interpretation.

I was particularly thrilled with the glove details on the upper half. The white gloves have a very soft texture, and the proportion and spacing of the four pearls along the back of the hand are quite faithful. When capturing the first close-up set, I deliberately folded my hands over my chest, smoothing the gathers of the purple chiffon. Because the fabric is semi-sheer, lighting required careful balance to prevent blowout and preserve the subtle ribbed texture; syncing the shutter and aperture demanded micro-adjustments, but thankfully the resulting lighting had fantastic layered depth.

The lower styling paired White stockings, wooden geta clogs, and dark blue bows. Shooting leg close-ups on a sandy beach is genuine physical labor. Sand is extremely soft, so wooden geta easily sink right in; walking required lifting the skirt hem while keeping steps light, otherwise the arch of the foot looks stiff on camera. White stockings also pick up grains of sand very easily on the shore, requiring thorough wet-wipe cleanups every few takes to keep the frame pristine. When waves surged in, we raced to capture the instant water splashed up, while monitoring the translucent edge-lighting on the stockings as they soaked up seawater. Holding the luminous prop in my left hand to complement the wave luminescence effects couldn't achieve a digital glow in real-world conditions, but post-processing color grading combined with practical light simulation achieved a solid reproduction.

Honestly, shooting this set was exhausting—the costume has countless layers, and with coastal winds gusting, I was constantly readjusting the hem and wig. After posting, I received a few nitpicking comments, to which I'd say: I never claimed this was a 1:1 replica, as creative expression inherently carries personal interpretation. I don't care for impolite remarks—I only accept compliments! For this series, what mattered most to me was blending my favorite costume details with authentic scenic ambiance. From location scouting and wardrobe tweaks to real-scene shooting, every step involved deep collaboration with the photographer. I hope everyone enjoys Kokomi basking in the seaside breeze this time.
