The planning for the Divine Sound Outfit shoot established its core tone right from the set design: rather than deliberately chasing an aloof divinity, it leaned toward preserving her human tenderness and attentive gaze. For this indoor-styled outdoor aesthetic, high-key lighting was utilized alongside a SONY A7C2 body paired with 24-70mm and 50mm large-aperture lenses. Within the cool-toned ambient light, we balanced skin tones to unify the entire frame's color palette between icy blue and pure white.

Regarding the styling, the lightweight gradient tulle dress in pale blue and white served as the primary visual anchor. The fabric is richly layered, creating a water-ripple translucency once illuminated. The off-the-shoulder cut made the extension of the neckline and shoulders crucial; paired with the sapphire pendant at the necklace's center, the overall silhouette remained crisp and clean. The white semi-sheer sleeves on the arms were a favorite detail of mine—while the golden vine embroidery wasn't obvious in wide full-body shots on the 24-70mm, it was distinctly visible under the 50mm prime lens's close-up rendering, adding immense refinement. The white feathered wings on the back greatly elevated the visual tension; the soft-light halo along the feather edges and their staggered arrangement in Photos 2 and 3 perfectly matched the gorgeous yet understated wing elements of the Divine Sound Outfit.

For the headpiece, instead of an overly intricate crown, delicate golden halos circled the head, paired with blue butterfly ornaments in varying shades to keep the look visually airy. The hair color saturation was balanced between gray and blue, complemented by light-colored contact lenses to match the character's signature traits. In Photo 1, I intentionally chose a tucked-leg seated posture to highlight the wrapped white ribbon detailing on the legs; paired with the breezy skirt hem, it elongated visual proportions while conveying the quiet, languid essence of solitary contemplation. In the reclining perspectives of Photos 6 and 7, surrounded by blue-and-white faux florals while holding a blue-and-gold staff, I sought to recreate a relaxed state immersed between water flora and the passage of time in this Blue-themed cosplay.

The entire shoot required strict body control, as the wings and multi-tiered tulle skirt could easily wrinkle during frequent repositioning or catch on floral branches in the set. To achieve the relaxed, naturally drooping wrist in Photo 4, I rehearsed the expression and hand positioning through several takes to avoid stiffness while ensuring fingers didn't obstruct key facial lighting. The set utilized abundant pure white plush rugs stacked with blue-purple florals; these set props reflected cool blue in the shadows and soft warm white in the highlights, enriching the elemental layers of this concept.

Treating every shutter click with sincerity is the only way to breathe the costume's authentic vitality into the final images. Looking back at this series, while showcasing the airy grace of the Hydro nation, I also wanted to convey the serenity Furina found after her personal transformations. Switching across focal lengths recorded diverse emotional nuances across seated, standing, and reclining poses; I am deeply grateful to the makeup artist and photographer for their support.

When sorting through the final photos, my personal favorite was Photo 7—a carefree, unguarded moment. However, for the cover, I selected Photo 1 upon consideration, as the blue ribbons and seated expression are quintessential, beautifully echoing the lightness intended for the theme. The overall visual centers on icy blue and pure white, aiming to deliver a pristine, translucent aesthetic.

Before the shoot, we evaluated the wearability of the Divine Sound Outfit. Its multi-layered skirt easily collapses without specific structural support. During the studio shoot, to maintain the floral-surrounded reclining posture in Photos 6 and 7, I had to balance upper-body posture while avoiding crushing the feathered wings behind me. Although the wings look stunning on camera, they are quite heavy in reality, testing back muscle endurance; thankfully, the photographer paced the session well, providing ample time for adjustments.

For makeup, to maintain the cool, aloof aura of the visuals, I chose a matte base and softened the eyeshadow hues, relying primarily on eyeliner to contour the eyes. Paired with contact lenses and pale eyebrows, this sculpted an otherworldly yet gentle facial contour. The closed-eye composition in Photo 5 specifically showcased the lower lashes and naturally parted lips, pursuing a tranquil, quiet ambiance.

Reviewing the shots afterward, I contemplated how to make every image distinct within this blue-toned theme. Photo 2 highlights side-profile presence, Photo 3 captures the back silhouette, while Photos 1 and 4 provide medium close-ups and leg compositions. The laced stockings in Photo 1 happen to be a styling detail many viewers notice, so when adjusting the lighting for that shot, we emphasized the three-dimensional texture of the leg straps in this White stockings cosplay, preventing them from being swallowed by the white tulle of the dress.

Post-processing maintained consistent harmony throughout; high dynamic latitude in cool white tones clarified the tulle's texture while softening distracting background elements, guiding the viewer's focus to the character's face, handheld props, and key costume highlights. Despite physical challenges during the shoot—like repeatedly sitting and standing with heavy wings—seeing the final result made every bit of effort worth it in this Genshin Impact Furina cosplay.
