[Kasumizawa Miyu Cosplay] Blue Archive RABBIT Squad Studio Photoshoot with White Thigh-Highs Outfit

For this RABBIT Squad look of Kasumizawa Miyu from Blue Archive, we used a high-key pure white studio shoot to convey the character's refreshing and adorably spaced-out vibe.

The wig was chosen in deep purple, with bangs and sideburns meticulously trimmed. The bunny ear headband on top and the yellow-green leaf hairclip on the side were paramount to accurately defining the character's signature features. The collared white shirt paired with a large black-and-white striped bow, layered with a light blue apron and an ID badge on the chest, gave the overall anime cosplay styling rich, full dimensions.

The composition of the first photo was framed around the edge of a trash can, where the blue recycling symbol on the outside subtly echoed the uniform's color palette. It required careful control of my center of gravity, extending both legs forward to capture a relatively casual, effortless moment.

Photos 2 and 4 were taken on a white cylindrical pedestal, the height of which provided great support for stretching out the legs. While wearing white tights as part of this white thigh-highs outfit makes the skin tone look evenly fair, it produces high reflectivity under strong studio lights, making on-site glare control exceptionally crucial. In Photo 4, pairing them with white sneakers alongside a notebook and pencil in hand added a campus vibe reminiscent of doing homework.

Photos 3 and 5 utilized a folding chair along with a metallic circular base plate as props. In Photo 3, placing bare feet atop the circular base with slightly pointed toes visually elongated the leg lines. In Photo 5, hugging the circular plate against my chest while curling my body slightly reduced my visual silhouette, fitting the character's petite physical traits much better.

For body language, I deliberately avoided rigid or exaggerated lines, relying more on soft curves and relaxed postures. Tilting the head slightly, letting the gaze wander into space, or resting my chin on my hand are classic yet fitting gestures for this little bunny. White tights easily blend into a pure white backdrop, so post-processing required subtle shadows or texture on the legwear to separate the brightness between the socks, skin, and background, preventing them from blurring together. Meanwhile, careful attention had to be paid to the angle of the bunny ears, as tilting too much disrupts visual balance.

What makes this kind of character so captivating isn't just the outfit itself, but the emotional tension between playful innocence and quiet detachment. To capture this subtle atmosphere, I communicated extensively with the photographer about pose relaxation and focal depth of the gaze. The advantage of a studio shoot is the absence of external distractions, allowing all focus to converge on the subject's emotions and silhouette, giving me ample room to experiment with various seated poses and hand gestures. White-toned images appear remarkably clean and translucent, yet they heavily test the precision of costumes and makeup. Carefully checking details like hair strands interwoven through the bunny ear clips and the symmetry of the tied bow ensures that while the final photos appear effortless, they are packed with meticulous perfectionism. The final temperament achieved in this set genuinely captures the desired sweet girl cosplay charm while preserving the character's signature aloofness and spaced-out innocence. Finishing this shoot gave me an even deeper appreciation for the RABBIT Squad lore in Blue Archive.
