This black-and-white plaid Cat ear Lolita dress paired with long silver hair is a style I've been experimenting with recently. To capture that slightly mysterious yet healing atmosphere characteristic of the original Galgame, I specifically chose this outfit imbued with a Retro outdoor style charm. The wig features a smooth silver-grey shade with long sideburns and bangs tailored to frame the face. Black cat ears atop my head adorned with black ribbon bows add a touch of playfulness without being overly sweet. A wide black-and-white choker around my neck and crisscross lace details on the chest resonate perfectly with the black-and-white plaid pattern of the dress.
For the location, we chose an outdoor staircase with stone-paved railings. Reddish-brown floor tiles paired with blue-and-white mosaic step borders give a nostalgic geometric patchwork that oozes vintage charm. Weathered concrete walls on both sides draped in climbing greenery infuse soft vitality into the rigid architecture. To highlight the full-body layering of the dress, I opted for a high-angle overhead shot. This angle not only clearly displays the cat ears and bows on top, but also fully captures the fluffy plaid skirt, white stockings, and black buckle Mary Janes in frame. The White thigh-highs outfit visually elongates leg contours while creating a harmonious color transition with the white lace trim of the skirt's hem.
For makeup, I selected light-colored contact lenses paired with soft pink eyeshadow and blush to emphasize eye contours, giving the overall aura a pure, translucent quality. Glossy lip tint adds a dewiness that, together with the silver wig and white pearl bowtie, highlights a refined yet ethereal demeanor. The cake tray held in my hands served as a warm prop for the shoot, featuring three thick cake layers adorned with white cream and bright red berries. This warm-toned dessert element perfectly balances the cool tones of the black, white, and grey color palette, infusing a lively, youthful sweetness into the scene.
The main challenge of this outdoor shoot was constantly monitoring shifts in natural lighting. Unlike stable studio lights, outdoor light shifts with leaf coverage and changing weather. However, this natural diffuse light gave the photos a more vibrant depth—skin textures look richer and fabric weaves appear wonderfully real. To convey a serene, relaxed afternoon mood, I controlled my expressions to stay soft, opting for a natural, relaxed demeanor rather than exaggerated emotions.
In interpreting Yukimura Chieri cosplay for this set, I wanted to express her unique blend of pure innocence and subtle aloofness. To faithfully restore the mysterious Galgame heroine's image, I carefully adjusted every detail from wig, cat ears, and plaid dress down to the White thigh-highs outfit and shoes. Set against this Retro outdoor style backdrop, the exquisite craftsmanship of the outfit stands out even more. Though the shoot was tiring, seeing the final quality—and the seamless blending of black-and-white tones with natural green foliage light and shadow—makes it deeply fulfilling. I hope this photoset brings you the quiet yet resilient aura I sought to convey!
