Care for a game of chess? Today, I'm sharing a shooting vlog of my Taihou Qipao look. The biggest highlight of this outfit is the gorgeous embroidered long ribbon drape in a red-and-gold color scheme; once it's spread out, it instantly creates a powerful aura. The plush shawl on the upper body and the black sheer arm sleeves strike a wonderful balance between keeping warm and being sexy, and with the golden phoenix hairpins and tassels, the details are truly on point.

To capture the best effect of this look, I chose to take mirror selfies in a hotel environment with wooden textures, as this neutral-to-warm indoor light beautifully accentuates the texture of the red-and-black outfit. During the shoot, I tried two different outfit combinations: one paired with black fishnet stockings and stiletto high heels, combined with a crossed-leg sitting pose, presenting a luxurious and exquisite feel; the other was a relaxed state with shoes off and barefoot—though the movements were much more casual, it added a touch of laziness when paired with the red silk ribbons. Personally, I really love the presentation of both sets, but if chosen as the main cover photo for social media sharing, the high heel one can better showcase the complete silhouette of the entire outfit and the unique temperament of the character Taihou.

Actually, every time I cosplay a character from Azur Lane, I have to adjust my expressions and movements according to the character's setting. Taihou has a clingy yet slightly tsundere personality, so during the shoot, I tried my best to make my posture look both confident and approachable. The material and cut of this Qipao cosplay are very helpful for flattering the body shape, especially the waist cutouts and thigh ring design, which visually elevate the completion of the entire Anime-style fashion look. During the shooting process, I repeatedly tried many angles before finally settling on the two most natural states.

That's all for the share of this Qipao look this time. I hope everyone can notice some of the small details I put into the outfit selection and shooting angles. In fact, there's no need for overly complex backdrops; a simple chair combined with the interaction of a mirror can beautifully complete the record of the entire piece of work through Cosplay photography.
